Singer Sung Si Kyung is set to take the stage again, overcoming the pain and shock of betrayal by his longtime manager.
According to MyDaily on November 6, Sung Si Kyung will perform at the '2025 Incheon Airport Sky Festival,' held at Inspire Resort on November 8 and 9. He is set to perform on November 9.
Despite having been deeply affected by his manager’s recent betrayal and not being in the best condition, he reportedly decided to fulfill his long-standing commitment and keep his promise to fans.
Previously, Sung Si Kyung ended his professional relationship with a manager he had worked with for over a decade. The former manager allegedly caused financial damages to Sung Si Kyung, his agency, and related external partners due to misconduct in the course of work.
While the exact amount of the loss has not been disclosed, it is said to be significant. Upon discovering the issue, Sung Si Kyung and his agency SK Jaewon immediately terminated the manager’s employment, and the individual has since left the company.
In an official statement, the agency said: “It has been confirmed that Sung Si Kyung’s former manager engaged in acts that betrayed the company’s trust while performing his duties. Following an internal investigation, we recognized the seriousness of the issue and are currently verifying the full extent of the damage. The employee has since resigned.”
The agency added: “We take full responsibility for the lack of supervision and are in the process of reorganizing our internal management system to prevent similar incidents in the future. We sincerely apologize to the fans who have been concerned by this matter.”
Despite recent hardships, Sung Si Kyung’s commitment to his fans remains unwavering, as he prepares to meet them again through his upcoming performance.
