BTS's 'Proof' wraps up first-week sales with the 2nd highest record of all time, just behind 'Map of the Soul: 7'

BTS's first anthology album 'Proof' has finished its first-week sales count at 2,752,496 copies as of June 16. 

Originally released on June 10, 'Proof' has now become the highest selling K-Pop album of 2022 with over 2.7 million copies in terms of first-week sales. Additionally, the album now holds the second highest first-week sales record of all time, just behind BTS's 'Map of the Soul: 7' at 3.3 million copies. 

In fact, BTS currently take up the top 4 spots on Hanteo chart's highest first-week sales records of all time, with 'Map of the Soul: 7' at #1, 'Proof' at #2, 'BE' at #3, and 'Map of the Soul: Persona' at #4. 

Meanwhile, BTS will be holding comeback stages for their anthology album 'Proof' on the June 17 broadcast of KBS2's 'Music Bank' and on the June 18 broadcast of SBS's 'Inkigayo'.

That's an incredible amount for an Anthology album with only 2 versions (Expensive and VERY Expensive) lol


I imagine the numbers would've been more if they got a 3rd version (Standard)😅
