Girls' Generation's Sooyoung has been cast in the upcoming drama 'Accidental Country Diary' along with Jang Geun Suk. 

Previously, Jang Geun Suk joined the cast lineup of the new Kakao TV drama series as the male lead. According to the media reports on August 2nd, Sooyoung has been cast as the drama's female lead opposite Jang Geun Suk.  

'Accidental Country Diary' is based on the web novel of the same name about a veterinarian from Seoul meeting a policewoman during his time in the countryside. Jang Geun Suk will be playing the vet Han Ji Yool, while Sooyoung will take on the role of the policewoman Ahn Ja Young.
