(G)I-DLE's Shuhua defined beauty on her own terms. 

On April 16, Shuhua posted a selfie with a very natural look. The photo came with a lengthy message regarding beauty. She stated, 

"I am not a materialistic person, but I try to enjoy life. Many people always ask me 'Why don't you wear makeup, do your nails, or dye your hair?' I don't dress up often but I still look in the mirror, brush my hair, and leave the house neatly~ Because it's comfortable this way. 

I know everyone has different aims and perspectives. So I respect the things you guys love. But I like being natural, and I like myself the way I am. Even if others think it's a flaw of mine, I think it's precious and important. This is what I think of beauty. No matter how people judge me, I'll always continue loving my confident self this way.
