Rain has edited his own Instagram post. 

Before early dawn of February 25 KST, Rain took to Instagram and made the following post, referring to his upcoming movie 'Uhm Bok Dong':

"I had a drink.... It's okay if the film doesn't do well. However, please just remember Uhm Bok Dong, I express this with all my heart.. There's a chance that the film will be bad. I acted while pondering about it day and night. ...I tried my best and worked hard. I hope you can feel my sincerity, thank you....."

A few hours later, Rain came back on Instagram and modified the post to the following:

"Please just remember Uhm Bok Dong, I express this with all my heart. I acted while pondering about it day and night....I tried my best and worked hard. I hope you can feel my sincerity, thank you...that's how fun the movie is..LOL"

Prior to this post, the movie 'Uhm Bok Dong' has gone under fire at the film premiere, as there were political opinions among the public that disparaged the movie for "wrongfully romanticizing" the historical figure as an anti-colonial activist, when in truth he had served in prison as a bicycle thief. 

Rain has not officially clarified the reason behind modifying the Instagram post, but many allege that it was a simple case of "drunk-posting" or SNS marketing with "humble" undertones.

The movie 'Uhm Bok Dong' will be in theaters on February 27 KST.
