18 K-Pop songs that are completely in English

K-Pop is enjoyed not only by Korean people but also by fans all over the world. And for their international fans, some K-Pop artists have released songs completely in English. Check out these songs that feature all-English lyrics!

Girls’ Generation - The Boys

In December 2011, Girls’ Generation released an English version of “The Boys” in the U.S, officially making their American debut. The song was one of the top 5 on Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100 Chart with over 21,000 digital downloads!

Big Bang - With U

Big Bang’s 2008 album, 'Number 1,' features tracks that are primarily in English. “With U” is a throwback K-Pop song that all Big Bang fans remember. This song is not only entirely in English but also has a music video that features T.O.P.’s iconic hairstyle. 

2NE1 - Can’t Nobody

On January 19, 2011, 2NE1 released an English version of their hit song, “Can’t Nobody.” It was originally released as a ringtone for Japanese digital retailer Recochoku, but soon became popular among international fans. 

NCT 127 - Regular 

NCT 127’s “Regular” is a perfect song for K-Pop fans who don’t speak Korean. The music video for the English version of “Regular” has more than double the views of the Korean version! 

Henry - Monster

In February 2018, Henry released a solo track that captures the emotions of someone at the end of a relationship. This single was released not only in English but also in Korean and Chinese, making it the perfect song for international fans. 

CL - Lifted

CL’s “Lifted” is an extremely catchy rap track that features all-English lyrics. Within three hours of its release, “Lifted” made it to the Top 30 if iTunes’ Hip-Hop/Rap chart and also landed a spot on the Billboard Hot 100. 

Dean - I’m Not Sorry 

Unlike other K-Pop artists, Dean started his career in the U.S. Dean debuted in 2015 with his single, “I’m Not Sorry,” which features Grammy winner Eric Bellinger. The same year, he collaborated with Mila J and Anderson Paak. 

G-Dragon - This Love

At the time of Big Bang’s debut, G-Dragon released his own version of Maroon 5’s hit single, “This Love.” Unlike the original track, it features rap lyrics that fit perfectly with the beat of the song. You’ll be surprised to see how well G-Dragon sings and raps in English! 


KARD - Don’t Recall 

KARD surprised international fans with an English “hidden” version of their popular single, “Don’t Recall.” It’s no surprise they have gained a large international following, especially with their great English lyrics. 

Tablo x Eric Nam - Cave Me In 

Eric Nam and Tablo collaborated with famous R&B singer Gallant for a soulful track, which trended globally for over 72 hours upon its release. Gallant’s smooth vocals, Tablo’s unbeatable rap lines, and Eric Nam’s honey-dripping vocals are the perfect combination.

Jay Park - Me Like Yuh 

Jay Park is known for his admiration of U.S. artists like Usher, Chris Brown, and Michael Jackson. Jay Park’s all-English track, “Me Like Yuh,” features an addictive beat that will instantly make you a fan of Jay Park’s other songs. 

Amber - Borders

Amber’s emotional rap-ballad song will instantly have you in tears. In her single, “Borders,” reveals her own insecurities and weaknesses in a song that many fans listen to overcome difficult times. 

Eric Nam - Into You 

On June 10, 2017, Eric Nam released his first U.S. single, “Into You” in collaboration with KOLAJ. This single sparked Eric Nam’s success in North America. He was featured in dozens of famous publications like BuzzFeed, LA Times, and TIME Magazine! 

Tablo - Eyes, Nose, Lips 

Tablo released his own version of Taeyang’s famous song, “Eyes, Nose Lips,” as part of YG Family’s cover project. The song features powerful, poetic English lyrics that truly showcase Tablo’s genius musical skills. 

U-Kiss - Stop Girl

U-Kiss released an English version of “Stop Girl,” in 2012. It’s a favorite among older K-Pop fans as it features amazing vocals and a catchy beat, along with lyrics that international fans can easily understand. 

BoA - Eat You Up 

BoA’s “Eat You Up” is an iconic single in the K-Pop industry. BoA showcases both her fierce dance moves as well as her soft vocals. Some fans prefer her English songs over her Korean ones! 

miss A - Love Alone 

In May 2011, miss A released “Love Alone,” an all-English track. Unlike other K-Pop songs, its subtitles are in Korean, not in English! International miss A fans were ecstatic at the release of this English song, especially with the amazing English skills of the members. 

Se7en x Lil Kim - Girls

Se7en made his American debut with the all-English Track "Girls" featuring Lil Kim. Unfortunately, it never really caught on with the American audience.
