Ha Jung Woo is a household name in the South Korean industry. His acting prowess and ability to adapt to any role has film lovers saying that they would watch any movie he was in just because he's that good. 'The Terror Live' is not an exception to that rule. An action thriller, Ha Jung Woo plays a demoted ex-anchor and now jaded radio host who ends up dealing with a terrorist bomber on a live broadcast to make his comeback as a TV anchor. If there was any movie to show off Ha's acting mastery it would be this movie.

Although the role of Kim Ja-hong was a loveable character, it wasn't able to display Cha Tae Hyun's comedic chops. 'The Grand Heist,' a comedic, Korean historical film, however, communicates more than enough of Cha's witty delivery with him playing the leader of a heist gang attempting to steal ice from the royal ice box managed by the king. A fun, easy to watch film, this period fantasy also stars 'Along with the Gods' co-star Kim Hyang Gi as well.

Joo Ji Hoon took a step away from his more recent serious roles with his portrayal of Wonmaek, but his first movie, 'Antique,' was the perfect piece to showcase his range of comic and serious acting skills. 'Antique,' also a webtoon-based movie, markets itself as a film with pretty boys and beautiful cakes but don't be fooled by that or the trailer. This bizarre, surreal film has its darker tones that can chill any viewer to the very core. It's a quirky feature and a hodgepodge of all the movie genres ever, could be a confusing first watch, but it's definitely a refreshing take.

Kim Hyang Gi started off her career as a child actress and has been in this industry for now 11 years. She's easily one of the best rising stars of her generation and for good reason. Kim isn't afraid of taking on more complex roles like in her portrayal of a poor Korean girl living in the Japanese Colonial Era and the terrors one had to face in these times. 'Snowy Road,' an extremely ambitious film, exhibits the horrors that young girls had to go through as comfort women but also points out the current day gender equality issues in South Korea. Warning: be ready to cry your eyes out and go through a full box of Kleenex.

Do Kyung Soo is able to reveal a cheerier side of him, at least in comparison to his role in 'Along With the Gods', in 'My Annoying Brother.' A sweet feature with a lot of heart, this picture showcases Kyung Soo's character Doo-young on the road back to an athlete after he loses his sight during a Judo match.

Kim Dong Wook plays another being on the verge of death in 'Romantic Heaven.' 'Romantic Heaven' is another fantastical, dream-like, often mystical movie but it may be closer to the genre of black comedy. But even that is questionable as it is hard to pinpoint what exactly is 'Romantic Heaven.' Yet this movie is eccentric and pulls the heartstrings in more ways than one.

'Along with the Gods' is not Director Kim Yong Hwa's first time using major computer graphics and working with large teams of artists. His sports movie, 'Mr. Go,' staring a CG gorilla who makes it big in Korea as a baseball superstar, took four years to make. An impressive feat for the times, 'Mr. Go' is the predecessor to the CG based film 'Along with the Gods.'
