1. Ryan Jhun
Ryan Jhun founded and became CEO of Marcan Entertainment and has produced for numerous top K-Pop acts such as EXO, Red Velvet, Girl's Generation, SHINee, Girl's Day, U-Kiss, Spica, TVXQ, Lee Hyo-ri, Super Junior and more! Born in Korea, he moved to New York where he discovered American pop and fell in love with the soundscape. He originally wanted to audition for Shinhwa, but his parents refused to allow him to pursue such endeavors. Despite his parent's disapproval, he continued to write songs, all of which were rejected by American record labels. It wasn't until SM Entertainment contacted him that his career really began to take off. If he seems familiar to you, chances are you may have seen him in a brief cameo in the tv series Produce 101! Everything this guy touches turns to gold!

2. Groovy Room
"Groovy is everywhere." Groovy Room is a duo consisting of two members: Gyujeong Park and Hwimin Lee. Groovy Room has worked closely over the last few years with artists such as Sik-K and Jay Park and focus primarily on trap, rap, and hip-hop. They recently released their own original album as a duo, but have produced for K-Pop acts like Heize, Minzy, Dynamic Duo, and more!

3. Teddy
Teddy, otherwise referred to as Teddy Park debuted with the hip-hop idol group 1TYM. The short-lived group disbanded in 2005. YG used to have production mainly handled by Perry and later Brave Brothers but that all changed after Teddy started to produce beats. In the late 00's, Teddy became the main producer for YG Entertainment. Teddy places within the top 3 annually for highest earning music royalties from all the songs he has written since 2009. Arguably one of the most prolific producers of all time, he has created tunes for Masta Wu, Big Bang, 2NE1, PSY, iKON, Blackpink, Lee Hi, just to name a few.

4. Shinsadong Tiger
Shinsadong Tiger represents a new generation of production, winning the aptly-entitled, 'New Generation Producer' award at the 2010 18th Korean Culture Entertainment Awards. He founded his own record label, AB Entertainment, and subsequently founded the group EXID, a creation of his own! Other than EXID, Shinsadong Tiger has worked on tracks for T-ARA, 4minute, BEAST, Hyuna, U-Kiss, Apink, Ailee, Fiestar, VIXX, Crayon Pop and more!

5. Yoo Young-jin
Active as a producer since 1993, Yoo Young-jin has produced for artists on the cusp of beginning the K-Pop scene such as H.O.T., S.E.S., BoA, and Shinhwa, as well as artists who dominate the airwaves now, like f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, and others. Often regarded as the 'godfather of modern K-Pop sound', Yoo Young-jin has served as an influential player in pioneering SM Entertainment's performance sounds. His songs are characteristically hard to ignore, whether you like them or not!

6. Bang Si-Hyuk
The winner of Producer of the Year at this year's Gaon Chart K-Pop awards, "Hitman Bang" or Bang Si-Hyuk, CEO of BigHit Entertainment, proves he's a force to be reckoned with. Bang joined JYP when Park Jin Young founded the company and produced for artists such as Rain, Wonder Girls, and Baek Ji-young. He left JYP to form BigHit and it seems that he's never looked back! With the global success of BTS, this CEO has it brains, business chops, and talent to boot!

7. Yang Hyun Suk
A former member of the ground-breaking group, Seo Taiji and the Boys, Yang Hyun-suk eventually founded YG Entertainment. He has served as a judge for many seasons of K-Pop Star and Superstar K alike, attempting to find new talent to keep the industry fresh. For VIPs and BlackJacks, this is your man! Yang Hyun Suk has served as both a mixing engineer and producer for many Big Bang and 2NE1 albums in his time at YG. He has won Producer of the Year 3 times!
8. Kim Dohoon
The producer behind K.Will's biggest hits, Kim Dohoon has the definitive ability to decide whether he will produce for a global or domestic audience. With a preference for the latter, Kim Dohoon's decided success lies in the group Mamamoo. His production style paired with the group's incredible vocal talent has led the idol group to meteoric heights. Fun fact: he helped in the production of the BTS song 'Blood, Sweat, & Tears' and he is the CEO of RBW.

9. Kenzie
Kenzie aka Kim Yeon-jung is a songwriter and producer who studied music abroad in the United States. Garnering an understanding of the music scene overseas helped her create songs such as EXO's 'Overdose' and 'Wolf' among other stylings by artists such as f(x), BoA, TVXQ, Red Velvet, and more. She is one of the female powerhouse producers that are scarce among a male-dominated landscape. Her productions are best known for their diverse and robust arrangements and big sing-along style choruses.

10. Brave Brothers
Despite the indication that Brave Brothers may be multiple people, it's actually one man by the name of Kang Dong-chul. Ever since breaking into the music industry in 2005, Brave Bros. has been a producer for some of the biggest new acts in K-Pop such as Teen Top, After School, U-Kiss, Sistar, Big Bang, AOA, Hello Venus, Brave Girls and more. He is known for his timeless, catchy, and addictive hooks.

11. Sweetune
The dynamic duo and production team that created the performance sound for the popular idol group, Infinite! Sweetune, who originally comprised the pair Han Jae-ho and Kim Seung-soo, soon grew to a whole team of them and nine other members! The group is known for their strong melodies and rich instrumentals with an affinity for 80s' pop feel! They're responsible for a number of artists, especially Nine Muses, Kara, and Spica.
