Kim So Hyun confirms while Lee Yeon Hee denies being in talks for 'Dae Jang Geum 2'

Kim So Hyun's agency SidusHQ rep told Star News on May 2, "It is true that she received the casting offer for 'Dae Jang Geum 2'... She is still in talks over her possible casting, and it has not been decided yet."

Lee Yeon Hee's agency SM Entertainment rep stated, "After confirming with her management, she did not receive a casting offer."

'Dae Jang Geum 2' shows what happens to Jang Geum after she leaves the palace and becomes a mother and teacher. Fans are waiting to find out if Lee Young Ae will reprise her role as Jang Geum, which she played in the original 2003 drama 'Dae Jang Geum' (also known as 'Jewel in the Palace'). Kim So Hyun will possibly play the role of Jang Geum's daughter.

'Dae Jang Geum 2' is planned to premiere in October.
