Girl’s Day‘s Minah and VIXX‘s N were spotted in the studio for VIXX’s new album!

VIXX’s official Twitter shared, “I am ROVIX. We thank Girl’s Day’s Minah who featured in VIXX’s mini album ‘HYDE‘s included track ‘Stop Resisting‘,” with a snapshot of Minah and N looking adorable as ever.

This just adds another element of excitement for the group’s upcoming comeback, which they’ve been teasing for with teaser images as well as a video preview.

The boys will also kick off their comeback with their 1st anniversary showcase on the day of the release on May 20th!

VIXX took things to the extreme in their teaser for “HYDE“!

We saw the boys with black wings in their teaser images, and it looks like they won’t be just having black wings – they’ll be taking the famous story ‘Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde‘ to their album concept. They’re first seen smiling serenely and dressed in white, but obviously there’s something wrong when we see snakes and other creepy crawlies featured in the teaser.

The creepiness goes up a bit with the words “You’re beautiful and I want to own you forever“. The boys go through a transformation into a ‘demon’, with crazy eye makeup and even more bugs. VIXX’s official YouTube channel wrote: “VIXX introduces mans who turned into a demon due to a hurt of love, but still has internal duality, good and evil through ‘Jekyll & hyde’ concept. [sic]”

VIXX won over fans with their literal beastly image for “On and On“, and now they’re back again with yet another beastly image!

The boys had announced that they’d be having a comeback with their first anniversary party, and released their teaser for their upcoming first mini album ‘HYDE‘ where they’re all donned with dark, black-feathered wings. To provide additional eye candy, the boys took off their shirts for fans to see their chiseled abs.

‘HYDE’ includes 6 songs, one of which is an instrumental:

21 idol groups gathered together on one stage for the ‘2013 Dream Concert‘ on May 11.

The concert gathered a crowd of more than 45,000 people and was filled with excitement at the Seoul World Cup Stadium with performances by SHINee, B2ST, INFINITE, 2AM, U-KISS, ZE:A, Girls’ Generation, KARA, 4minute,T-ara, SECRET, SISTAR, EXO, B1A4, Rainbow, Huh Gak, Girl’s Day, SPEED, Boyfriend, BTOB, EvoL, and VIXX.

The MC’s for the night were SHINee’s Onew, KARA’s Hara, and B2ST’s Doojoon.

For those who couldn’t attend the concert, you will be able to catch the full concert when it airs on May 22 through KBS2TV at 11 PM KST!

Guess who’ll be joining the May rush of comebacks! It’s none other than boy group VIXX, who has announced their return through the words of their mascot ROVIX.

The photo above was posted on their official Twitter with the words, “This is ROVIX. At the VIXX members’ <The First Anniversary Party> the performance of a new song from their first mini album, being released on the same day, will be revealed.”

The boys’ anniversary party is already a sold out event as tickets were snatched up by dedicated fans within 9 minutes of opening, so the lucky ST☆RLIGHTs attending will not only get to be up close and personal with the members, but also witness the first performance of their new title track!

The event and the mini album release will be happening on May 20th, so be on the look out for teasers that may come our way!

‘Weekly Idol‘ went around with a survey titled, ‘They’re so~ different~ from their real selves! The cosplay-idols that have a business image‘. Many idols participated in the survey, offering their suggestions on whom they believe to be the most different on and off camera.

To the amusement of fans some of the results were released through the show’s Twitter.

First up was TEEN TOP‘s L.Joe. His own members Niel, Ricky, and Changjo wrote, “Angel on stage, demon off stage!!!!!“, “Cute hyung vs player hyung“, and “He really has absolutely no charisma!“.

Next up was INFINITE‘s Sungjong, who was nominated by L, who wrote, “Show us your real self“.

However, more members seemed to think that L was the more likely candidate, as Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Hoya, Sungyeol, and Sungjong wrote, “He has two faces“, “It’s not the same person..“, “L and Myungsoo are different people…“, “He’s cool on stage, but he’s not cool anymore“, and “He has a chic image, but he’s actually lively and fun“. Others seemed to agree, as TEEN TOP’s C.A.P, Rainbow‘s Jisook, and Hello Venus‘ Ara wrote, “You’re all being fooled“, “He seems like a cold city pretty boy but he’s actually weird“, and “Cold image vs bright, nice manner-man“.

SHINee‘s Taemin chose himself, reasoning, “I’m professional on stage“. He was joined by TEEN TOP’s L.Joe, VIXX‘s Leo, and Dal Shabet‘s Ahyoung, who wrote, “He’s cool…“, “I’m amazed by the gap he has on and off stage. I focus on him“, and “He explodes with charisma on stage!!!“.

SHINee’s Key chose ZE:A‘s Kwanghee, writing, “He works hard to be serious on stage“.

On 4minute‘s HyunA, Rainbow’s Woori, VIXX’s Ravi, Boyfriend‘s Jeongmin, and Dal Shabet’s Serri wrote, “She’s really sexy but she has a really cute personality!!“, “Her being both sexy and cute is proof that she’s a very charming person!“, “She’s sexy, but off stage she’s cute“, and “If you talk to her, shes’ a really cute dongseng“.

The ‘2013 Dream Concert‘ released their incredible lineup to the public. The Dream Concert is usually the biggest and baddest concert in Korea and this year will be no different.

The 19th edition of the annual concert will be held on May 11 at the Seoul World Cup Arena and the lineup includes SHINee, B2ST, INFINITE, 2AM, U-KISS, ZE:A, Girls’ Generation, KARA, 4minute, T-ara, SECRET, SISTAR, EXO, B1A4, Rainbow, Huh Gak, Girl’s Day, SPEED, BTOB, EvoL, and VIXX.

Before the concert, there will be a red carpet and photowall event. The concert producers stated, “K-Pop has become Hallyu’s trademark product with ‘Dream Concert‘ at its forefront. It’s a new movement for Korea’s growth that contributes to industrial production and improvement of Korean brands. Next year, ‘Dream Concert’ will have its 20th anniversary. We’re preparing a step to create a new brand value. This will be an important and meaningful concert that announces that change.”

The annual ‘Dream Concert’ has been an iconic Hallyu concert, drawing in fans from not only Korea but Japan, South America, the Middle East, and more, contributing to further spread K-Pop awareness across the globe.

TEEN TOP‘s ‘shake‘ dance is so infectious that it’s not just fans that are doing it – other celebrities are joining in, too!

The boys did the dance again in the waiting room. At first they pretended to be doing other things, like getting their hair fixed or chatting with their stylists, but then burst out and started doing the dance. The sudden dance move surprised ALi, who had been walking past them, but she joined in, laughing as she shook her hand along with the boys.

In another video, the boys were joined by VIXX, where some even got on top of the table and the couch to show off the craziest shake dance they could muster. VIXX’s N even utilized a tissue to make the most out of the dance!

Back on February 23rd, the ‘2013 Yang Yang K-Pop Concert‘ was held in Naksan Beach, Yangyang, Gangwon-do. The concert was aired to the public through SBS on March 2nd.

The concert was MC’ed by KARA‘s Gyuri and Kim Joowoo. Some of K-pop’s top acts performed at the concert including B2ST, HyunA, B1A4, Rainbow, INFINITE-H, NU’EST, and more.
