We all know and love Taeyeon as the queen of Instagram, and we can always count on her to update us with fun new photos.

Recently, Taeyeon shared a photo where she posed in front of a huge, glowing, pink ‘GG’ sign. She wrote a simple “GG♥” as the caption, for her photo.

It looks like she managed to snag a photo while the set of “LOVE&GIRLS” was being taken down, as the lightbulbs are missing in the top right corner on one of the G’s. Or perhaps she snatched a quick photo while they were still setting up. But whenever it was, she sure looks adorable!

Shinhwa gifted their beloved hoobaes with the special versions of their 11th album ‘The Classic‘!

Girls’ Generation, 2PM, and Nine Muses all experienced the love backstage for the 700th episode special of KBS 2TV‘s Music Bank, and they were all smiles as they took photos together with the legendary group.

Girls’ Generation did the trademark ‘We are Shinhwa!’ pose as they held up their copies of the album with their Shinhwa sunbaes. The groups are close because many of the girls were young trainees while Shinhwa was still under SM Entertainment.

2PM not only got their own copies, but they had something to give Shinhwa as well! The two groups swapped albums, and Nichkhun even posted on his Twitter, “OMG ♥.♥ Hyung, thank you~~~ kekekekeke“.

Nine Muses also got a copy of the special album and they showed it off on their Twitter, writing, “We met the Shinhwa sunbaenims who came back with their 11th album ‘The Classic’! ‘This Love’ is so good! Nine Muses will work hard to become a long-lasting group like sunbaenims! Fighting!“.

Remember how Girls’ Generation was supposed to release their new Japanese single “LOVE&GIRLS” in May?

Sadly, the release date was pushed back to June 19, but the girls have brought us a present anyway with a preview which aired earlier today on Fuji TV‘s “Mezamashi TV“! The girls filmed the MV with a crowd in a carnival like atmosphere and dance along with bright smiles. The song is happy and fun with a cute and bright choreography to match.

“LOVE&GIRLS” will come in two editions, Limited and Regular with the Limited edition including a DVD containing the music video for “LOVE&GIRLS“. The coupling track for both editions will also be a brand new track titled, “Lingua Franca“.

Key and Tiffany got together for adorable ‘couple’ photos!

The two complement each other well with Key and his blonde hair and white shirt and Tiffany with dark hair. At first, Key’s behind her in the background, but when he’s by her side, they look like they could be siblings.

Key posted the photo onto his Instagram and wrote, “tiffany and key# HELLO KEYTI“.

Sunny had an incredibly fun birthday with the rest of her group members!

Taeyeon uploaded photos from Sunny’s party onto her Instagram. The first photo shows the girls sans Sooyoung and Yuri holding glasses of champagne and smiling brightly for the camera. Tiffany’s the only member with makeup, but all of the girls look beautiful nonetheless. Taeyeon wrote, “Happy B-day SUNNY❀ We were happy today as well. Sunny, I love you. You’re mine #515#HPM #bd“.

The second photo was of just Taeyeon and Sunny, and Sunny looks like she’s cracking up at whatever Taeyeon has just said or done. Taeyeon expressed herself with just a “:)“, but that was enough to show how happy she was.

2013 is off to a great start in K-pop with the return of some of the top acts in the music industry. Even though digital sales have been steadily taking over the physical album sales, this year many idols have enjoyed high album sales.

The ranking isn’t exactly scientific as album releases vary by date, and certain albums have more than one part or include repackage editions. But still, when’s a ranking ever not fun?

Sunny turned 25 in Korea on May 15, and fans were quick to celebrate her birthday on Twitter!

The hashtags #Happy25thSunnyDay and #순규야생일축하해 (HappyBirthdaySunkyu) trended at #1 and #3 respectively within an hour of her official birthday in Korea.

Girls’ Generation recently wrapped up their Japanese arena tour and are preparing for their world tour, but hopefully Sunny and the rest of the girls can take a day off to celebrate her birthday!

Who’s the prettiest girl group member?

Well, of course they’re all gorgeous and opinion varies according to type, but Reach Panel Korea‘s PanelNow wanted to find out the answer through a poll. They surveyed 22,104 people and asked who they thought were the prettiest. Suzy gathered 29% of the votes and placed first overall.

YoonA came up right behind her with 25% of the votes. After that, there was a big jump down to third place, as Krystal received 9% of the votes.

The rest of poll is as follows: Dara with 7%, HyunA and Hara who each received 6% of the votes (1,370 for HyunA, 1,259 for Hara). Sunhwa was next with 4%, and Jiyeon along with Dasom wrapped up the poll with 2% each (461 for Jiyeon, 410 for Dasom).

Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri will be debuting on the big screen in the role of a swimmer.

She’ll be playing the main character in ‘No Breathing‘, a youth sports movie that tells the story of love and rivalry among competitive swimmers. Actress Kang Sora was also considered for the role, but in the end Yuri snagged the spot. She’ll be acting with Lee Jong Suk and Seo In Guk.

It’ll be her debut on the big-screen, but Yuri has previous acting experience in the drama ‘Fashion King‘.

The movie will begin filming this month and will be released in theaters in late 2013.

It looks like one of the requirements to be cast in the upcoming drama ‘Dating Agency‘ was to be tall.

Well, of course it’s a coincidence, but when ‘Dating Agency’ released the profiles of their five main characters, excited fans noticed that all of them were as tall as models. Actor Lee Chun Hee, a former model, is 186 cm (~6’1″), Lee Jong Hyuk is 184 cm (~6.3′), Jo Yoon Woo is listed at 183 cm (~6′), and Hong Jong Hyun is 182 cm (~5’11″). And it’s not just the guys! Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung also boasts a tall height of 170 cm (~5’7″).

Lee Jong Hyuk plays Byung Hoon, a ‘genius director who is the Sherlock Holmes of the dating agency business’. Sooyoung plays Min Young, an ‘agent who specializes in broken hearts and is full of emotions’. Lee Chun Hee plays Seung Pyo, a ‘mystery master chef who runs the restaurant near the theater’. Hong Jong Hyun plays Moo Jin, the ‘chic & dark engineer of the dating agency’. Jo Yoon Woo plays Ah Rang, the ‘bright energizer maknae who is a master at part-time jobs‘.

With her forever-innocent, beautiful face, perhaps it’s no surprise that Seohyun was chosen as the #1 female idol with the most ‘innocently royal’ face.

The cosmetics brand Regen Cosmetics recently polled 592 women in the 20 to 30 age demographic, “Which girl group member has an ‘innocently royal face’ with a sophisticated and noble look?“. Seohyun snagged the top spot receiving 51.3% of the vote. She was followed by Dara with 21.4%, third place went to Dasom with 13.1%, and Sunhwa was fourth with 12.6%.

After revealing the results of the poll, Regen Cosmetics said, “We were able to better understand the image that the public has of girl group members. Recently, skin that is clear and is lively is called the ‘innocently royal’ style. I think these girls like clear skin because it gives off a luxurious image.”

Why did trot singer Park Hyun Bin send beef to Girls’ Generation?

Well, he explained that he had no underlying intentions except that he was simply acting as a sunbae. On KBS 2TV‘s ‘Generation Empathy Saturday‘, he explained, “When Girls’ Generation were still rookies, we appeared on the same show. I heard Yuri say that she wanted to eat beef, so I sent over some beef as a sunbae. But if I send it now, they’ll think I’m weird, so I can’t send any.”

When Girl’s Day‘s Minah heard this, she exclaimed, “On a singing program, we won a fishing pole once. We gave it to Park Hyun Bin because we didn’t know how to use it, but he never gave anything to us!”

Maybe next time he’ll send Girl’s Day some food?

Sooyoung‘s long legs are usually the main focus of her photoshoots, and her newest one wasn’t any different.

She stood on the stairs out in the sun with nothing but the clear sky as a background, but she stood out stunningly with her sexy pose. The Girls’ Generation member pulled off the white see-through look perfectly, looking like nothing less of a goddess.

The photoshoot was for the an unnamed brand that she’s endorsing, and the staff reported that even though the weather was unbearably hot for the shoot, she never lost her smile and energized the entire staff.

She’ll soon be joining the rest of Girls’ Generation for their world tour beginning next month.

Taemin was chosen as the idol mostly likely to be good to his parents.

An online portal site ran a poll from April 30th to May 7th asking users, “Which idol will be the most filial to their parents?“. Out of the 379,633 total votes, Taemin placed first with 37.2% of the vote. Even though Taemin had debuted at a very young age, he previously revealed that he gifted his parents with a house in Cheongdamdong as well as an expensive car.

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon wasn’t far too behind Taemin as she received 31.1% of the vote. Taeyeon also revealed last year that she’d bought her parents a house that had 3 bathrooms. In third place was IU with 16.1% of the vote. The “Nation’s Little Sister” revealed that she had gifted her father with his dream car.

Big Bang‘s G-Dragon, JYJ‘s Yoochun, and Kim Hyun Joong followed respectively in the rankings.

Jo Kwon currently plays Herod in the musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar‘, which is his musical debut. He’s the youngest person to play Herod, and he’d said before, “In the musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, I will play the role of Herod. As much as I am the youngest to play the role of Herod, I will show the best stage according to my style. Please anticipate a lot^^”

Taeyeon really is making the most of her well deserved break.

She’s been traveling around all over Europe, including the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. Most recently, she paid a visit to Beethoven‘s grave in Vienna, Austria. She took a photo from the grave site and wrote on Instagram, “I met him #warm #Beethoven“.

Even though she was dressed casually and was just sightseeing, the photo looked like it belonged in a professional photoshoot.

The ladies of Girls’ Generation will enjoy their break before embarking on their ‘2013 Girls’ Generation World Tour – Girls and Peace‘ which will kick off on June 8th and 9th at Seoul Olympic Park’s Gymnastics Stadium. They will then make stops at various countries around the world.

Hyoyeon showed that she could completely command the stage by going through three different outfits on the May 3rd installment of ‘Dancing With the Stars 3‘!

After a successful run on season 2, the Girls’ Generation member appeared on the show for a special stage. She joined hands with her former ‘Dancing With the Stars 2′ partner Kim Kang San and performed rumba and cha cha through Michael Jackson‘s hits “Dangerous“, “Billie Jean“, and “Ain’t No Sunshine” (Bill Withers cover). She first donned a blazer, a fedora, and pants for her performance of “Dangerous”, and then threw off her blazer and pants to reveal a feathery white dress to dance rumba for “Ain’t No Sunshine.” For her cha cha dance for “Billie Jean”, she tore off her white dress to reveal  short, black mini underneath.

Many K-pop stars throw the first pitch for baseball games in the Korean Professional Baseball league, but Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany is one of the rare idols to throw the first pitch at a Major League baseball game in the United States.

She’ll be standing on the mound at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday, May 6 to throw the ceremonial opening pitch for the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tiffany will be joining top celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone, Harrison Ford, and Matthew McConaughey, who have also thrown the opening pitch at the stadium.

Star Korean pitcher for the Dodgers Ryu Hyun Jin has always been a fan of Girls’ Generation, and he’ll be on the field to serve as the catcher for Tiffany’s opening throw.

Girls’ Generation has also announced Tiffany’s first pitch through Twitter, writing,

‘Dating Agency; Cyrano‘ released two hilarious trailers offering a bit of dating advice for its upcoming broadcast!

In one of the trailers, Sooyoung finds Hong Jong Hyun enjoying coffee at a store. When he asks her to the movies, she battles between accepting him right away and refusing him once to play hard to get. She decides to refuse him once, but different from what she expected, he leaves right away, which is when Lee Jong Hyuk pops up to give her a business card for his ‘dating agency’.

In the 2nd trailer, Lee Chun Hee tries to confess to Sooyoung, except that his methods aren’t exactly standard and he ends up getting arrested. Lee Jong Hyuk once again makes an appearance and hands Lee Chun Hee the business card.

The Girls’ Generation leader posted a series of photos onto her Instagram earlier today of her journey to London.

In the first photo, she informed her fans where she was by writing, “#Sunny weather #UK“.

She also wrote, “^^^^ #UK” and shared a few photos taken on Tothill Street in London as well as in front of the beautiful gothic church, Westminster Abbey,
