Powerful vocal group 2AM recently made a guest-appearance on KBS‘s ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘ on November 9th.

Despite having undergone surgery on his foot not too long ago, Seulong surprised viewers by appearing on stage with his fellow members, making this his first public appearance in Korea since the weightlifting accident. The singer was seen in a wheelchair with his left foot wrapped in a cast.

The group began by performing their title track “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me” off of their second mini-album, followed by their previous hits “I Did Wrong” and “With Or Without You“.

The highly anticipated live broadcast of the April 22nd episode of ‘K-Pop Star‘ has finally hit airwaves. Viewers witnessed yet another round of intense battle between the Top 3 finalists: Lee Ha Yi, Baek Ah Yeon, and Park Ji Min. Unfortunately, the finalist to be voted off this week was none other than talented vocalist and pianist, Baek Ah Yeon.

Lee Ha Yi was the first to stand on stage this week with her arrangement of Lee Hyori‘s hit song, “U-Go-Girl“. Her unique voice color and rendition of the song was fully able to move the hearts’ of the three judges, receiving the highest score this week.

Up next was Park Ji Min with her cover of “You Raise Me Up” and indeed, she was once again able to prove her powerful vocal ability despite her younge age, earning her a standing ovation from the audience.

Lastly, Baek Ah Yeon chose 2AM‘s “I Did Wrong“, putting up another impressive cover as she expressed the song through keyboard playing along with her sweet voice.

Although Baek Ah Yeon ended up with an elimination, she maintained a bright smile and stated, “Thank you so much Park Jin Young sunbae. I’d like to thank my fans who came out here to support me and to my parents. Let’s go home together.”

In addition to this week’s performance by the Top 3, a special collaboration stage with the Top 3 finalists took place as they partnered up with GD&TOP, miss A, and Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and Tiffany.

The cast put on special performance as a treat for the servicemen and while the men generally enjoyed all the performances, the atmosphere turned red-hot when Yoona came on by herself.

The 1,400 men went literally crazy as the cheering pierced everyone’s ears including Yoona’s as she put on a sexy Deja Vu chair dance routine (?) but she kind of stopped midway through the performance and we end with SNSD appearing as only a preview for next week. Nice job by the sneaky PD.

Looking back, the boys have had a lot of success with Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die and I Did Wrong after they made their comeback into the music scene. We’ll be saying farewell to the boys but don’t worry – we’ll still be seeing the members of 2AM doing their own separate/ group activities through variety shows.

Wrapping up their promotional activities this week, 2AM performed I Did Wrong for the last time on Music Core.

Although fans are sure to be sad about this news, you still catch them on their special goodbye performance on Inkigayo this week. In addition, We Got Married will air a special episode of leader Jo Kwon and Ga-In tomorrow and Seulong will continue to appear in Personal Taste.

The boys started the year off great with their hit Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die. After such a sad track, 2AM upped the tempo a bit with their follow-up hit I Did Wrong.

A representative of the group said that the final I Did Wrong performance will be a special one and that anticipating it with high hopes would be a good idea.

And even though 2AM is ending their live promotions, they’ll still be busy with their individual activities through variety shows and radio programs. It’s also been revealed that they are receiving many love calls from America, Japan and the rest of Asia so perhaps they will expand their career?

2AM’s leader Jo Kwon released this news via his Twitter, promising to bring his fans with a better album soon.

He tweeted,

Although the album promotions for 2AM were scheduled to end much earlier, the constant cancellations of music programs caused them to be delayed until now.

According to Big Hit Entertainment, the last broadcast for 2AM will be on May 2nd through Inkigayo. No further album plans for the group have been made yet.

Music Core resumed broadcast on April 10th after canceling the live broadcast on the 3rd. But recording was still done last Saturday and the footage was aired this afternoon. The 2AM boys have really done well with their first dance song, I Did Wrong and have certainly ascertained that they can take on any genre of music, be it ballad, dance or comic performances.

2AM’s first dance song I Did Wrong is bringing another round of success for these boys. The group just edged out BEAST for #1 at M! Countdown on April 1st.

The boys had won #1′s at M! Countdown before with Won’t Let You Go Even If I Die and now I Did Wrong is proving to be their second big hit in the first half of 2010. They had edged out BEAST’s Shock who was the winner last week.

Jinwoon said, “We have to work together, especially when things get hard. I wish the people who are working hard on the search (for the naval ship sinking scene) are safe. We also want to wish the best for the families that are awaiting results.”

These angels dedicated their acceptance speech to the victims of the naval ship sinking–how sweet.

M! Countdown and other music shows this week were canceled as a mark of respect for the tragic incident.

After thanking their fans on Youtube, the boys gave some more fanservice on the stage of Music Bank.

The awesome choreography coupled with the catchy tune make for a great song.

Unfortunately 2AM will be ending their promotions soon, so be sure to cherish the few stages they have left!

Last week, 2AM performed I Did Wrong on M! Countdown, Music Core and Inkigayo and showed off their hot dance moves for the first time.

The most eye-grabbing dance moves are the shadow dance and apology dance. The shadow dance is the part when the backup dancers mimic and puppeteer the members’ moves as if they were the members’ shadows. The apology dance goes accordingly to the lyrics. The lyrics state, “I did, I did wrong,” and that is when they put their hands together as if they are begging for forgiveness.

I have to say, that dance move is not something to be complimenting because it’s a bit similar to 2PM’s Heartbeat and Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry dance choreography. But the fans are loving 2AM’s version of it. They are complimenting the facial expressions of the members when they sing that specific part of the song.
