Can't wait!!!
I can't believe it has been 15 years already ๐คฉ
Imagine if they had to accommodate all of NCT in rooms vs. 1 or 2 independent actors...just saying, a few actors minimize exposure to the staff and each other vs. large idol group gatherings.
That's what I thought..
woahh...so he finally became an actor!!!! I remember him being one of the first waves of Kpop reactors :)
wow! Looks like this article brought out all the old Kpoppers XD ..
I agree with all the points but would like to point out that this would be applicable to only 60% of the kpop fan community. But because the weightage is on the higher side, it seems to be the standout trait.
I have been into Kpop since the 2006/2007 period [right when Se7en was moving out and BB was moving in], been a fan since 2009 and have been on the forums since 2010. I have seen fans from the first through to the current generation - and each one had their own take on it. I remember when First Gen fans used to get grumpy cause the Second was leaning towards auto tune :)
Each Gen fans have their own pet peeves but it would nice if those who identify themselves as Kpop fans truly listen to Kpop and are not just consider it another fashion trend. Kpop is a genre all by itself - expecting it to give in to Western standards kind of loses the originality that made it stand out in the first place.
And as an old kpop fan, I am going to go fancrazy and say that 20+ years later - many Kpop groups have come and gone. Both First and Second Gen have prominent groups who have not only made a name for themselves but have managed to pave a solid career [irrespective of whether they are as famous now]. I would like to see how many of the current generation will have the same impact 10 years later...
Well....This is going to be good ๐
