Those posts are from trolls that are from a very small amount of people or same person (on allkpop) with multiple accounts. They are Yoona fans (as you can see from the top posts in this articles, and would do and write anything to bring Taeyeon down. Please don't let that alter your opinion of her. She got a lot of after dating Baekhyun and was blamed for Jessica leaving SNSD. She has been my ult bias since I got into into SNSD many years ago and still is to this day.

You are correct. There's just so many factors from ads, user engagement retention, sponsorships, etc. Taeyeon, for example, barely uploads but she pretty consistently gets millions of views when she does. We don't know how much she makes from these old videos.

I believe that although they're the same app, they run on different servers. Douyin runs on Chinese servers to comply with their regulations/censorship, so there content is a bit different.
