Just four months and already engaged? Why do I have a feeling there's another announcement on the way.
That is exactly what I thought.
Why did you have to write the story like this and not translate to full post.
I mean the original post was this guys fanboying story that he told as warning and a lesson to all younger Kpop fans not to get to obsessed, not to spend too much money, time and effort to your idols.
I mean he ended his post by saying:
"Please value your life more than you value idols
Your short life will be even shorter if you waste your time"
I always think 1st gen stating with H.O.T in 1995. Since they started this whole idol group thing as we know it today.
Then 2nd Gen started with TVXQ
3rd Gen started with EXO
4th Gen I have no idea.
Here is more comprehensive one if some of you are interested since this article only included revenue and operating profit.
Big Hit 2019:
Revenue/Sales 587.2 billion won (481 million USD)
___Cost of Sales -385.7 billion won (-316 million USD)
Gross Profit 201.5 billion won (165 million USD)
___Operating expenses -102.8 billion won (-84.3 million USD)
Operating profit 98.7 billion won (80.9 million USD)
Net income/profit 72.4 billion won (60.8 million USD)
This is based on sales not their concert profit. I don't think a virus has anything to do with album sales.
No. The sales here don't mean album sales or any sales particular. It includes everything Big Hit did last year so anything that brought them money.
Taeyeon is so cute
Incheon is still a very cheap area compare to seoul
Yeah but still this Hyoyeon apartment isn't that cheap since it is worth about 2.5 million USD.
I didn’t know (G)I-dle, IZ*One, and The BOYZ we’re still considered “New Artists”. I honestly thought that it would now be considered for groups like ITZY, ATEEZ, TXT, EVERGLOW, etc. But congrats to them anyway!!!
They all released their first JPN albums last year that is why they are considered new artists in Japan.
Yeah because of BTS
How old is she? She looks significantly younger than Park Joo Ho'
She is 4 years younger. She was born 1991 while Park Joo Ho was born 1987
All hanteo sales are included in gaon but not all gaon sales included in hanteo. And not all world wide sales included in gaon too
world wide sales>gaon sales> hanteo sales
Bts mots persona gaon sales= 3.7++ millions
Bts mots persona ww sales = 4 ++ millions
Last part is wrong. All worldwide physical sales are included on Gaon.
That over 4 million Persona sales must include digital album sales as well or maybe some idiot counted same album sales twice like for example adding Oricon and Gaon numbers together.
In fact the agreement between Woollim and SM ended in 2016. Since 2016, Woollim has become an independent company again.
Not really. In 2016 SM C&C just decided to make Woollim entertainment their subsidiary company instead of Woollim remaining as a independent label inside SM C&C.
Want some surprising info not included in text?
Japanese AKB48 made 84 mln $ in 2010!
2012 was even crazier. AKB48 made 226 million USD in that year.
Why only reveals twice at 2019...where is 2017-2018
Well if you are interested about 2017 - 2018 here you go:
2017 Twice was 24th place overall and made 14.1 million USD.
2018 Twice was 11th place overall and made 34 million USD.
Why only reveals twice at 2019...where is 2017-2018
This thing only show the group that was number 1 each year among kpop groups.
For example this year BTS was just little bit behind Twice. They made 11 million yen so only 100k USD less than Twice this year but they were not mentioned.
It did. They asked from 13 - 50 years old. That is why you see so many trot and ballad singers in top 10 artist ranking.
For the individual idol ranking they only asked 13 - 18yo and 19 - 29yo demographics.
*Little edit it is 13 - 59yo not 13 - 50yo.
Here are artists that didn't make it to top 10 but still got over 2% of the votes.
11th Park Hyo-sin (3.9%)
12th Lee Sun-hee (3.6%)
13th Lee Seung-cheol (3.5%)
14th Taeyeon / Gummy (3.1%)
16th Chungha (3.0%)
17th BLACKPINK / Cho Yong Pil (2.9%)
19th Jang Beom June(2.8%)
20th Jin Sung (2.7%)
21st Mamamoo (2.6%)
22nd Exo (2.5%)
23rd Hongja (2.4%)
24th Lee Moon Sae (2.3%)
26th Na Hoon A (2.2%)
27th Akdong Musician (2.0%)
I am offended. Why does the survey didn’t include people in the forties like me 😅
It did. They asked from 13 - 50 years old. That is why you see so many trot and ballad singers in top 10 artist ranking.
For the individual idol ranking they only asked 13 - 18yo and 19 - 29yo demographics.
Her company is the ones who signed over her contract rights to Chinese companies and they are the ones in court. Not Jessica. Never deal with Chinese companies because they always win in court.
No. What I understood the Chinese are going after Jessica individually not Cordinel. They are holding Jessica responsible and are asking her to pay them.
I mean Cordinel said in their statement:
"The Chinese agencies went to the Seoul Central District Court and filed a request to enforce the arbitration decision made in China against Jessica herself rather than Coridel Entertainment."
The poster is for concert not a comeback fam, red velvet wont be making any more comebacks this year.
Yes this is for concert but Red Velvet is still gonna have comeback this year probably right after this concert like they did last year when they had Power Up comeback right after Redmare concert. I mean they said earlier this year they are gonna have 3 comeback this year so 1 more left.
I Agree but also Disagree with Magistrates' court in Daejeon sentenced.
-
It will be difficult to impose "fair" sentenced.
-
I AGREE: With 80 hours of community service, they could even increase more hours, community service is a constructive sentenced, this can help make the guilty reflect before spreading a rumor just for disturbing or defame. The guilty should also make a monetary payment as reparations because of her/his malicious rumor that committed on the Internet community, but the monetary payment should be put in an account to help people suffering from mental health.
-
I DO NOT AGREE: 6 months in jail just for making or writing a comment based on a rumor, it seems exaggerated, I do not agree, maybe 2 to 3 days of detention could be reasonable but not 6 months, such like I disagree when the court gives so few years of jail to "some" men who were obviously guilty of having hit or sexually abused women.
-
Recall that many politicians worldwide were found guilty in their corruption but it all started with "The Rumors" by people or even press, without those rumors no one would have begun to seriously investigate if those corrupts politicians were involved in such crimes.
In South Korea there are good politicians and corrupt politicians, as well as good idols/persons such as perverse idols/persons too, now that rumors are punished with jail in South Korea, Perverse idols/persons and corrupt political can freely commit their crimes without anyone accusing them because they can accuse any knetz of malicious rumors. I feel sorry because while Law try to save the lives of good idols and good ppl on the other hand law is restricting the free expression of opinion to the rest of the country and knetz.
He was sentenced to six months in prison which is suspended for two years.
So he will be on probation for two years and only have to go to prison for that 6 months if he
violates the condition of the suspension during those two years.
i think OP captured the screenshot before Gaon update the list for physical album. just wait a couple hours till they re-releasing new article
No. Seventeen is going to get their Triple platinum certification next month. There is always little delay like this with these things.
For example X1 released their album in August but didn't get any certification month ago when Gaon released their September certifications they only got it now in October.
I want to know how much the tickets are, especially since every ticket holder gets the mini album free.
If you don't already know i heard most tickets are gonna be 50USD so really cheap compared to your average kpop.
I think this article is little bit wrong because the Chinese companies aren't suing Cordinel and asking them to pay back. They are suing Jessica individually and if she lose it is her alone who have to pay back that 2 billion won.
Doesn't the original article say that in 2022 they earned 98.25 million won in total as a group not per member? Since the article says in 2023 they earned 170.81 million won more per member than previous year.
