it is easy to say that people who have done bad things do not deserve forgiveness, even at the end of their lives. all life is sacred. people end up doing bad things because they are also hurting - we never see it, they never show it - it is one of our society’s flaws. for sure they deserve to be brought to justice, but to lose one’s only sacred life, whether they did good or bad, still deserves respect and prayers that they can fix their beings and find redemption in their next life.
“A” was an 18-year-old student (Korean age) who first met Iron two years ago and was living as his roommate and receiving music lessons from him. According to the police statement, Iron accused “A” of lying to him and forced “A” to lie face down. He then hit their backside about 50 times for 20 minutes with a baseball bat. Afterward, “A” had bruises on both thighs.
During police questioning, “A” stated that they had given Iron a music file and was accused of corrupting it with a virus. When “A” denied it, the assault as described above took place.
According to the police statement, Iron said that it had been a disciplinary measure, but admitted to the assault.
After completing their investigation, the police booked Iron on the charge of assaulting a minor. The Yongsan police station has since requested a pretrial detention warrant from the court. A source from the police stated the reason for the request was because there were concerns that the suspect might run or commit a second offence.
In 2017, Iron was sentenced in a domestic violence case in which he was accused of assaulting and threatening his girlfriend. He also has drug charges related to marijuana use"
