Excuse me? He's a goddamn former LoL world champion. And he just won his region's most recent seasonal championship, so he's slated again to compete for this year's world champion. Meanwhile, she's a streamer with a mere 33K followers.

This is absolutely disgusting, but this does happen often. This also happened in 2019 when a taxi driver attempted to kidnap a young woman but was caught later on. This also happened in 2021 when a guy raped and killed 3 women after kidnapping them in a taxi but he was ever given any jail time because “they didn’t find enough evidence”. They also said something about them asking for it….
Not saying there wasn't any shortcomings from the law enforcers/investigators, but for you to think that they still should imprison someone regardless if there's not enough evidence is much more disgusting.
Well, according to the original article, it states that the Philippines, along with the US, Latin countries, Thailand, and Australia, preferred soft drinks over caffeinated. So, while the Filipinos might enjoy a lot of coffee, the soft drinks are still consumed and preferred more than coffee. A lot of Koreans drink tea, but it's just that coffee is preferred over it.
Comparison of softdrink to Coffee/Tea makes zero sense. Softdrink is commonly consumed during meals that you wouldn't drink with Coffee/Tea, like lunch or dinner. While coffee/tea are commonly consumed during breakfast/afternoon breaks. Yes, there can be some overlaps like late night snacks, or staying awake at work, or just to quench thirst. But softdrinks literally serve a different purpose from coffee and tea.
Excuse me? Philippines is in Asia, and coffee is a household regular for Filipinos. There are barely any Filipinos that drink tea(except for cold sweet tea and bobba tea). So definitely, South Korea is NOT the ONLY country in Asia that prefers Coffee over Tea.
