The only thing I'm mad at is that we probably won't see BI and Bobby on stage together again. iKon as seven was so electric, and BI's influence was massive. I do miss their earlier music a bit, but I still love But You
I half expected to see Mark.
It's like the stylists took all the different iterations of "mob boss" in film and gave one to each member, except it came across as pimp daddy instead.
Whatever is ailing him, I hope he gets through it and we'll see him when he's ready. Side note, I LOVE this hair cut on him. I really like the long wolf cut/mullet on him.
Yeri had to grow up a lot quicker than most, especially with the unfortunate tragedies she had to endure. She was needlessly criticized from day one, and I'm happy that she seems to have matured into an admirable person.
Wonder how this CBX vs SM saga will end. And how it's going to be with the rest of the group. Like will the other members also sue for contract termination if CBX wins their case? Can they bring "EXO" with them in any case (i highly doubt)? Oh and why only CBX? Why didn't the other members join in filing the case? How do the other rmembers feel about this recent turn of events? One day they were gearing up for a comeback, the next day there are lawyers, press releases, accusations, etc.
I believe if all the members leave, they can take the name with them, hence why iKon and Shinhwa can promote with those names. I forgot the exact legal requirements. And who knows, maybe it's something about CBX specifically that they believe has a better chance of getting what they want. Maybe it was the whole foul up with Kai's military service that pushed them over the edge. IDK
This is allkpop 😂 I love that you’re taking it that seriously though. Good for you.
Typical. You got called out and now trying to backtrack because you got called out for being over the top. "jkjkjk! I was bring over the top and ranting but I really wasn't serious!" Clown.
I’m not uncalm? Very kind of you to also assume I don’t know anything about these celebrity pitches, too. Please feel free to comment on what my comment is actually about. there is no need to make these types of assumptions while we chat about it. 😆
Dude, you used way more question marks than is grammatically necessary and you want to claim you're calm. You literally called it a rant. You inferred your ignorance based on your comment, without even having the time to do the due diligence and discover that aespa is a brand ambassador. The article says they're doing something else in NY. How do you not know they aren't also in NY for a fashion/magazine/MV/literally anything else shoot? It might just be a fortuitous appearance. Promos are just that. Promotions. The East promotes in the West and vice versa.
Everyone wants to bastardize the west and say they’re ruining kpop. The entertainment companies are the ones setting up things like this. This is just a really bizarre promo event to have kpop artists at to begin with???
please consider blaming these Korean ent. companies next time 😂 they’re the ones who are pushing into the west and adopting western things. I doubt more than 10 percent of Yankees fans will gaf about aespa (generous). Don’t force your idols on stages where they don’t need to be??
Anyway, messy rant over.
Geezus calm down. They're throwing a ball. Lots of random people do it. Most of the time nobody knows who the person throwing the first pitch is. This even applies to the Korean games. It's a promo event and way less work than half of the other promo events the company makes them do.
lmao I feel like this ruins the concept of NCT. I thought it was supposed to have elastic memberships. Why withdraw them completely? And why not let the rest of them leave to debut in other groups as well?
It's so bittersweet that Key's message closed with "you worked hard." That was all Jonghyun asked for in his parting message, and Key passes it along here. Moonbin fans, it's okay to be sad and take this hard, but please reach out if you need help getting through it.
Maybe it's what the shoot was going for, but I don't dig it. Same expression in all the photos except one. Makeup and hair styling don't make his expression bolder; rather makes him look shallow and strung out. Lighting is softer than the normal hard black and white their image usually has. Maybe it's just me.
I just came to look for moonsun comments.
I don't like NCT's baseball team sized group, but at least that's 18 more boys that got to debut basically.
You do realize that there are 60-100+ million ARMY out there and your ss don't reflect on all of them? I saved your ss and tried reading it, but most of it is too blurry to read. I could quickly tell though that some of those people are obviously akgaes or solos of other members. Some of those are jokes. You do realize we joke about X member(s) being "cheaters" bc they once acted with a CGI alien woman?
I don't know much about Taeyang. I don't know, y'all should probably chill bc your man Taeyang is making bank off of ARMY and getting new ARMY fans. Go ahead and stan Yoongi if you want, you might as well go stan RM, Jin, j-hope, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook while you're at it.
This is an L take. Not knowing who Taeyang is is part of the problem. No one said Taeyang and BB are more popular than BTS or Suga. But even Suga acknowledges that when kpop was basically mocked, BB made it more palatable and cool to the GP and international platform. It's okay to acknowledge and give credit to those who came before you.
If you somehow were the first person on Mars, would you not give credit to Neil Armstrong and all the other astronauts that came before you? Or would you claim to have gotten to Mars all on you and your team's brilliance? If you made a documentary together, would that be Neil trying to profit off of you, or you trying to celebrate both of your achievements? That's all Suga is trying to do here.
I really wanna know what’s going on. Is it forced removal? Rebranding? A problem with the company? The idols working against the company?
I feel like rebranding might be a potential reason. YG is associated with a slew of unappetizing headlines, and maybe they think moving less controversial artists is a way to rebrand something in a nicer package (I assume they're getting some compensation or stock shares for this). Could also be YF might be looking at bankruptcy, so they're moving the profitable projects out so when it goes under, they don't lose them. Who knows?
I don't think of an artist. I think of their general concepts. SM usually = group will have (at least) 1 outstanding singer, 1 outstanding dancer, 1 outstanding visual. And I really mean outstanding when it comes to singers.
SM also = weird fuggin concepts with occasional bangers, excellent b sides, and generally relying on the talent of their idols to make it work.
Idk what's worse, the fact that I'm surprised he didn't already have laser hair removal (a lot of idols have already done it), or that he's been so hair free normally that the dude is shaving literally everyday. LMFAO
Obv we know nothing, but I think any of the three scenarios are likely:
1. Mental health issues, in which case, I hope they get the help they need
2. YeDam is seriously going to pursue a soloist career
3. A drug scandal, or something along that serious of nature, is being covered up.
Who knows, but good luck to them.
SHINee was gone for so long and their Don't Call Me comeback was absolutely killer. There's no comparison.
Oh I agree. But SHINee has also been on stage so often and for so long that they move on stage like it's breathing. SHINee had the great Dream Girl broken mic stage in their fifth year; BP's in their sixth year and has nowhere near that level of live experience.
Even with an extended hiatus, they're still miles ahead.
What did you really expect going to their concert? They hardly perform on live shows, haven't toured as hard as other groups, and barely promote in the first place, so I wouldn't expect them to be as pro as say, SHINee or BTS.
Other groups tour and perform so much that the choreography and stage awareness are just second nature for them. Blackpink has as much live performance experience has a 3rd year group.
idk, diss tracks are a part of hip hop, so if you're gonna try to follow that style of music, guess you should accept all that comes with it 🤷
That's a very thoughtful take. Although lacking the physical aspect, I assume that esports athletes train just as much and have a similar mindset to being the best, just like Olympic athletes.
