Younha returns to Korea with a new album

Younha, who earlier this year went to Japan to concentrate on the Japanese Market is returning to the motherland. The "Oricon Comet" will return to Korea with a new album on August 28th. The album is titled, "Volume 2 - Someday". Younha enjoyed success with the release of her first album last year, which at it's peak reached #1 on the charts. She also won the SBS Inkigayo Mutizen award twice for her song, "Secret Number 486." The album will contain 17 tracks and some of the songs will be feature Tablo of Epik High.

The album cover and track listing was recently released on the internet. Some people are commenting that the "O" in Younha on her album cover is the neopagan pentagram (which is used in satanism). Maybe that will stir up some controversy or there could be some valid explanation for it.

Younha is very talented, the only thing she was lacking in the past was in the looks department. But she looked much improved in the Ajoo Paparazzi video. Is Younha capable of taking it to the next level to be on the top tier of KPOP superstars? She has everything now, all she needs now is for the people around her to package everything correctly and she can take it to the next level.

I think she’s cute. Did she concentrate on Japan market for the whole disappearance? I didn’t hear anything about her.

Yeah I don’t think she’s releasing anything in Japan yet. Maybe release this album first, and then that one?

Damn, 17 tracks. She’s been working hard. <3 And she’s so much prettier now. <33 When she released Houkiboshi she was cute but in a not-good way. LOL!

That star does look like Satanism… wtf… lol.

Glad to see that Younha is coming out with an album. Her collaboration with Ajoo and Epik High wasn’t enough for me.

They use the pentagram in Wicca too. They don’t worship Satan in Wicca though. They worship the Goddess (of nature, or whatever).

i dont think she was lacking in the looks department. she just has her own distinct style. unlike lots of other kpop artists.

I definitely agree with the point made in the article that she is really talented. Her vocals is strong, and yet, she can sing a wide variety of different genres. As for lacking in the looks department, I think she looks fine.

She is “NOT” ugly…it’s better with Original face, then those plastic-fugly faces in K-pop culture ....

i doubt if she she can be the top of anything sure she can sing but the girl makes awful music. Her looks is fine but her music is crap.

She’s really talented..And she isnt even that bad looking! I think she looks pretty although people do say that her eyes are big o.O

I think she’s both talented AND pretty (rare combination lol) her music is great but people tend to pay more attention to groups these days. She’s totally underrated…

younha is a really really talented singer. one of the best in the kpop industry in my opinion. she can play piano, sing really well and she just got the natural looks! haha i love her. i hope she hits the charts. i know she can!

I’ve always thought she was cute and talented. I really like her music. best of luck to her though. @Be…yes, she is short XD

she is pretty enough as it is.
it’s because of people like you that other singers join SM and then go get surgery.

ah! i like younha! and she is pretty… well, maybe she needed some cleaning up in houkiboushi, but she got much prettier after her japan stay. even during her SM audition, she was cute… much better looking than jaejoong (i believe) was at the time.
and unlike many, she can actually SING. and possibly (probably) play the piano very well.

uh, she didnt really stay in japan long…if you watch any of the weekly music shows, shes been doing lots of perfs with AJOO and Epik High, she was probably in Japan for maybe like 1 month or two…
