YG Entertainment set to launch Female Big Bang in February

YG Entertainment CEO and former Seo Taiji member Yang Hyun Suk squashed all rumors that YG Entertainment was going to release their new female group some time in October. Instead he confirmed a February Launch Date.

Park Bom, Gong Min Ji, Sandara Park, and CL are confirmed members and YG Entertainment is still debating about adding a fifth member to the group. Yang Hyun Suk didn't say anything about the rumor of the groups controversial name "SISTA." I just hope it's a different name because SISTA is just terrible.

Yeah, it shouldn’t be called SISTA. That’s like, wannabe black from the 90’s. Looking forward to them! BUT YG NEEDS TO BRING 1TYM BACK!!!!

And maybe add Kim Jieun in there, she needs more attention & her solo career isn’t going so hot.

their group name has not been finalized yet.
swi.t is the first yg girl group before this one.

wow a new girl group, but honestly why put sandara? I don’t hate her but she can’t sing nor dance, she can act but not so good on singing parts. hope she improved but I think we need a girl group with powerful vocals and not just another cutie pies, well good luck on all of them and hope their endevours pays of.

i heard bout them quite a long time ago, i think YooBin from WG was supposed to be in this group but since HyunA had to leave they got YooBin to be in the group. i dont know why YG would help JYP or mayb they just bought her off them? im not 100% on this info but its wat a read a while ago

That name is fuckin stupid. It just pisses me off. Park Bom is all the way awesome, but this group is about to be lame. They ain’t about to be no Big Bang. These chicks aren’t “sistas”, they ain’t down. Such foolishness.

the name ‘SISTA’ is just a rumor… and i’m sure it’s not true. that rumor also said that the group was debuting on October 23 without Sandara Park. so, i don’t think the group will be called SISTA *hopefully i’m right!* i don’t like Sandara being added to the group. =\ i don’t think she’s a great singer or dancer, but i guess she’ll help balance out the group since Park Bom is so much older than CL and Minji.

awesome, CL and Park Bom are really good! Yeah perhaps they should leave out Sandra Park and like someone else mentioned replace her with Kim Jieun this chick is seriously talented, I think that after all these years of working for YG and being featured on everyone’s album, she should have another chance at the spotlight!

Hopefully they will come up with another name though! Hey its YG so I’m sure they will come up with a cool-ass name!! hahaq YG rocks~
