YoungSaeng has really nice vocals, the others were alright. And to be honest, I don’t think they’ll reach the status of the three groups that you mentioned.

DBSK pwns more in my opinion.

I really like the song…its wow…I thought they were dying…I like the songs that they made from their debut but their songs now are just flop…it doesn’t show case their vocals…but this song is just really good that I have it…it’s my first CD from SS501, too…but the MV is just…lols…Jung Min is such a guy, he destroyed the mood of the song…
but Young Saeng owned the song…he’s like the only one singing it…
well, he was an SM Trainee…I don’t expect any less from him…
Young Saeng and Hyung Joon are love by me…lols…
anyway, nah…they’ll never reach DBSK’s status…as long as DBSK exists ...they’ll be the top group for this generation, at least…

Honestly, I never heard of these dudes before, but I don’t know, I think they have what it takes to make it in KPop. But I just think they need to be exposed a whole lot more than from what I’ve seen & just give them a lot more time. I think they definitely have the image, because for some reason, two of them remind me of Super Junior members. So of the dudes are kinda cute too. I don’t know them, but after this, I think I will try to learn more about them.

i liked their song Deja Vu, typical don’t like ballads, but this was really nice.

DBSK = Forceful promotion + Moderate talent + Pretty faces = Success.
. Big Bang = Varied Talents + YG + Being considered a Boy Band = Success.
. Super Junior = Fan Club + Pretty faces + Minor talents = Success.
. Its all a money game, if you’re a pretty face, your label can force you down peoples throats to eventually love you. Success is one thing, Genuine acknowledgement for ones talent is an absolute other.

what r u guys talking about? Dbsk Is the it thing right now…in ASIA. I am not a fan girl but that group has got harmony, look and dancing down to a T.
P.s SS501 isn’t necessary failing nor succeeding becuz considering they debuted AWHILE ago. They’re r also plenty of famous talentless act in Jpop. JohnniesE any1? at least those boys r cute is all i have to say from some of thd JE acts i’ve seen.

they have what it takes, talent and good looks, but i think it will be hard for them because there label is not strong enough to compete with big names like sm yg jyp ect. there label (dsp or smthing like that) shud promote them more and better if they want to reach the “idol” status. they are close though…

I like SS501, but I prefer them singing tunes like, ‘A Song Calling for You,‘ or ‘Deja Vu,‘ not this ballad-type. They have the looks and talents, their company just sucks.

tin, while I agree with you somewhat, you have to agree that almost every idol band will always be backed up by heavy promotions and marketing. Just because a certain group is backed by marketing skills and production. Those who aren’t will most likely be left behind. However, that neither means they soley rely on money to get where they are nor lack the talent people praise them for. To note, one’s help through promotion should benefit them, not strip them of the talent they do have. Please keep in mind that your opinion about the boys do differ with many others and that while you may think that the boys are rather average, many others do believe in their talent and skills. Some fans are not boastful, mind you, and they do sincerely think that dbsk is a great band.

I’m not a major fan, but I do admit that they do show dedication and skill in what they do and that kind of hard work not only shows in their successes in korea, but also in japan, where so many foreigners fail to make a good impression. To say that they are only fueled by money is, to an extent, true, but their accomplishments in Asia should indicate they have gone through a lot not to be recognized as people put on a pedestal. Whether ones see that or not doesn’t really change things at all.

DBSK can’t be just little talented to be sucessful for 4-5 years. Their ballad songs aren’t catchy like other groups and solos, but it’s all the harmony voices that make them exceptional. They don’t have to wait for a catchy tune to make the beautiful songs.  Their fast-paced songs rock the stages, and it’s the reason their concert are packed everywhere. The haters predict and wish for their fall, but it never come. They release their works as a group because they are really a group.  When you heard of some other groups, half of the time it’s about the solo project and sided works. Not that is a bad thing, I just prefer the group that is created for a reason, not the compilation of good artists.  But this is individual’s preferance. The other artists have less promotion? Oh please. Look at all shows that are irrelevant with music, all of the really famous and relatively famous groups attend along the year. There are also music shows every week. It seems like DBSK have more promotion, just because they get more responses.
