On May 19, a spokesperson for Se7en's record label, YG Entertainment, updated fans on the progress of the 24-year-old by posting on the label's homepage.
"Se7en's English pronunciation has gotten much better," the update said. "His trainer is with him for almost 24 hours. And together, they practice English."
The update continued to talk about the current situation regarding the release of Se7en's debut album in the U.S.
"It's going to take a little longer than we expected," the spokesperson wrote. "Right now, we're discussing the U.S. debut album with the label, and we're trying to get a better bargain out of them. But, we are in no hurry."
According to the update, Se7en will be featured on a famous Latin singer's album. In addition, talks of the singer being casted on a famous TV series was also mentioned.
"If Se7en is casted, it will be a big PR move, but, nothing is official," the homepage claimed. "The idea is still being discussed and deliberated."
My idea of throwing Se7en and Rain on a boat and shipping them back to Korea, preferably one with holes, should be discussed and deliberated. But seriously, after they come to their senses, they will realize that Se7en is better suited as a Chinese delivery boy in some junky B movie. I love me some pork flied lice, but I don't love Engrish speaking fob actors.

but Se7en’s english is so much better now! i saw his recent interview clip and he was so adorable with his, “can you understand what I’m saying?” way better than Rain’s lame “i dont’ think so”

There are sooo many asian actors out their who have true potential and hollywood rarely gives them a chance. I am quite excited to see what Se7en has in store. And his english has gotten significantly better.

i hope its I LOVE NEW YORK 3!!! him and new york would be cute together...what happen to the B.E.T. reality show??? heard that B.E.T. wanted to follow Se7en & JYP’s “Adventures” into breaking into the American R&B;industry...that would be awesome tho! seems like their getting more support and offers from the Black audience anyways

Even before they had their “American” dreams, Se7en was always known to be better in English than Rain.
That album is taking soooo damn long to be released. It’s already complete, right? I really believed before that he’s going to release after Rain’s debut, I don’t know which - acting or singing career - but it turned out to be Speed Racer. And he did do that party thing. Yurns out he doesn’t have a label yet. Eh?
And now he’s also going to the non-music part which is acting. Trying to want some publicity, huh? Nothing wrong with that. But...! His acting is horrible. That’s a fact. So, when’s this gonna happen? During the time of Ninja Assassin?
Get an agency already! Like what Rain did.

hmmm, in no hurry? YG just needs to move it along and beg the record label to take Seven already. Quit pushing his debut back when there’s already buzz about it. He’s just killing the anticipation that fans have for Seven’s debut. If he makes fans wait any longer they’ll probably go see Rain’s Ninja Assassin first before Seven’s debut takes place.

Overall, Rain is going to be more popular than Se7en.
Sure, Se7en is hotter, and his English is much better..
However, Rain is a better dancer, singer, and an actor.
(It’s my opinion anyways.)
I hate them both, but hey...they tried.

they should release his album first for se7en to fully focus on his music and then the acting....
hey guys se7en was great in goong s ,his acting was pretty good and he shouldn’t be blamed for goong prince hours ‘s failure !!! this goong was actually a big failure since the beginning ,so different from the first ,no real plot ,not so good cast (except se7en and the 2 girls) ,they re-used all the things we’ve already seen in princess hours ... Rain’s acting is awesome but you know why ? cause he had the opportunity to show what he got on good productions (full house,a love to kill,im a cyborg but that’s okay,and his mini-movie (still believe song) whereas Se7en was cast in a big flop as his acting debut…
this is not really about talent (even if it’s essential) ,it’s about luck and opportunities..

Yeah man..I hope it’s not an appearance on a soap opera or one of those teenage drama shows. I wouldn’t be surprised if his script only consist of these lines, “That’s $10.95 for the kung pow chicken...What, no tip?!” Hmm I wonder which Latin singer requested Se7en to be on album...hope it’s not Ricky Martin...ahahahahah. I’m rooting for Se7en. I just listened to the preview of his new track for his English/US album called ‘Them Girls’ and it’s kinda catchy! He sounds extremely good!!!!!! And his pronounciation is awsome. >_< American TV show??? Ok.... well good luck with that lol I think Se7en is waaay better than Rain. It’s a bit sad that Rain seems to be more popular. But I guess if you’re looking for good vocals go for Se7en, If you’re looking for great Abs and major dance skills then go for Rain…

i like se7en the singer way better than se7en the actor…
i’ve heard ‘them girls’ and his english is surprisingly really good. so i’m curious to see how much he’s going to improve if he continues on practicing.
