Although Speed Racer was bad for teenagers + (or so they say), it has a a lot of popularity with the younger kids.
My friend had to see it with her brother and said that Rain looked hot in the movie. :/
Speed Racer was better publicity for Rain, bad or not.
It’s better than Se7en who has appeared in nothing except for some songs.

Why is everyone so excited....they didn’t do it on purpose. They could get fired making those kinds of mistakes. It had NOTHING to do with him being an Asian. Stop being so paranoid! He was lucky to have a small article about him in the magazine since this is his first American movie.

As far as Speed Racer is concerned it is too bad if they can’t get their money back for making it, but Rain is still getting plenty of PR from this movie, so it is all good for him especially since it got him the leading role in another movie. “Ninja Assassin” is not going to be a big movie so don’t get excited if it isn’t one of the biggest movies of 2009. It is a beginning for Rain....did you think he was going to go to America and immediately be a top star? No..it will take him some time, and he will at the same time be working on his music, and don’t expect for him to go right up to the top in that career either. Entertainers work for years to become stars in America.

Rain is very fortunate to be able to do the things he is doing in America...don’t ruin it by thinking there is some kind of conspiracy against him, or that he is through in America just because his first movie wasn’t #1 at the box office.
