Save your money & watch Ironman.

Hmm… Haven’t seen it yet. I kinda do want to see it (I wanna see Rain on the big screen… [even though I know he doesn’t play a big part] >.<") but then again, those are some harsh comments up there. I think I’ll see Speed Racer for the heck of it. (Even though it does seem suck-ish...)

Those are really harsh comments, funny but harsh =D.  Which audience were they targeting with this movie anyway?

hmmm...since when do I give a sh*t about what critics say? 

So I’m going to watch it today.  Yay!

geez did anyone actually watch the movie? i watched it last night on imax and it was awesome!… seriously. i usually don’t like these kinda cheesy blockbusters but me and my buddies really enjoyed it. i think as long as you don’t take it too seriously and just watch it for some light hearted entertainment than you should be able to enjoy yourselves.

I was so so on watching the movie in the first place, but I saw it for free on IMAX so I cannot complain. Yes the movie is long and is not a great movie. It is entertaining at times and funny, the whole movie was made to be tongue and cheek and slapstick. The colors and CGI were all done according to what the brothers wanted you to see, it is a blend of reality and anime. It is based on a cartoon, if your expecting to see a “real” version of Speed Racer your surely going to be disappointed and if your older and you think your going to get Speed Racer the cartoon you will be disappointed too. The movie just has the character of the cartoon. The movie could have been a lot better but it is decent, I say if you could see it for free go and if you have to pay go to the $7 afternoon showing.

Also Rain does have a major role in the movie, he is a crucial character. It is a step closer for Koreans to be in Hollywood, downfall is he said “wooo” like eight million times and his English is horrible. They also generalize every Asian race as the same and the dude from g.o.d. look like a pedophile spider man on top of his car.

i saw it and i loved it!!! i love the action, the storyline, the way the camera moved i mean they don’t just fix it on one person for many minutes.  i think it’s the best film i’ve seen!! i didn’t love matrix btw!!! XD i think i’m weird!! LMAO

Oh, and I can barely get what Rain said at times.

me and like..14 other aisian people are about to watch it tonight :D

well… they will probably recoup their money from the ticket sales in korea.  fangirls will watch it 10x just to support Rain lol

premise is weak to begin with...flashy special effects can’t save it…

I kind of wanted to watch it >< Maybe when it comes on dvd. I’ll go rent it. I’ll go waste my money on kung fu panda instead =) I dont like Rain anyways so im not super sad.

oh well… as long as i can see rain’s sexy face i’m fine

Does Rain even understand what the critics are saying? I don’t think he could. He probably thinks it was a success. Oh well, let him dream.
I’m not going to waste my money on that, but I’ll rent it if it comes out on DVD sometime. I might watch it for that guy in g.o.d. He was the one with the muscles, right?

my sis says dun watch Ironman cos it’s not good either…
but i think i’ll prefer Ironman over Speed Racer cos i dun wanna have nightmares after watching Rain in it...hahahahaha

I seen the movie and it was awesome. the first 10 mins gives you a sum of what happened to speed racers brother, while in the present time with funny flash backs. but after that(so u can understand the movie) the movie was very funny and exciting. Rain(bi) had some pretty decent camra time, and everytime I saw him me and my friends did the wave. let me tell you, you will not be disappointed, rain has more then 10mins on screen. hes like in alot of it.
I was really happy and excited and want to watach it again and again.

I saw the movie today, I thought it wasn’t THAT bad as this makes it seem. It wasn’t the best movie in the planet but it definately wasn’t the worse. I, personally, liked it. (Maybe because I was very excited to see Rain. *shruggs*)

I thought the movie was very tongue in cheek but overall it was okay.
My friends and I had a good time watching it so it’s really not that bad.  It does induce you to put your head between your legs ever so now and then but it’s all good. xD

ok,maybe she dun like it cos she prefer younger male leads but it doesn’t mean u can call her nuts!!!

critics are terribly wrong on this one. no one should go in expecting a deep storyline. it’s based on a kid’s cartoon. it’s visually amazing and it’s just fun. critics were expecting the wrong kind of movie.

watch it.

it’s based off of a marvel comic, the suit is perfect and represents the classic comic perfectly, if not even more impressive… what was she expecting??
