No, that's not some random ahjuhshee (old man) trying to kick it to young girls at the local pool hall. That's the legendary Lee Juno conducting a recent interview with a Korean media outlet, from that image it looks like he was a legendary pool hall hustler instead of a Kpop legend. So what's he been up to besides turning into a homeless looking man? Well he doesn't really say... Considering how he looks now, I can understand why he won't really divulge into what he's been doing. He did state that he wanted to perform again with Seo Taiji & The Boys. I don't know if Taiji (who became fairly successful with his solo career) and Yang Hyun Suk (who later formed YG Entertainment with former Deux member Lee Hyun Do) would like to associate themselves with him again. I mean, no offense, he's a legend and all... but he would need to clean up before his former band mates would show their face with him in the public eye. He also stated how the group broke up, saying that they were all in Taiji's studio basement recording their 4th album... when out of the blue Taiji said he wanted to disband. You know Lee Juno's heart stopped at that moment, because the group was basically his meal ticket. Hopefully Lee Juno can get out of his current predicament and make something of himself, like his former partners in crime (no pun intended) have done.
Some back history on Seo Taiji & The Boys, if you aren't familiar with them. Seo Taiji & The Boys were a collaboration of three young men from different walks of life. Seo Taiji & The Boys were composed of the lead Singer Seo Taiji, and the two dancers Lee Juno and Yang Hyun Suk. Seo Taiji was in a band called Sinawe, at 17 he dropped out of school because he felt the school system was corrupting the minds of the youth. Shortly thereafter, Sinawe broke up and he discovered Lee Juno and Yang Hyun Suk to form the dance group Seo Taiji & The Boys. This was a critical moment, as they forever changed the music landscape in Korea. They were essentially the founders of KPOP. They were one of the first to write about issues in Korea and dance over rap beats. They became the most famous artists in Korea & dominated all awards, and record sales for almost a decade. They used various genre's of music, from dance rap, to rock n' roll, to heavy metal, to gangsta rap. They're legends and if not for them, the Korean music landscape could've looked very different. Their impact & influence is immeasurable.
