hmm, i think people should understand that JYP is a businessman and of course he would only think of profits..i think if Rain stays in JYPE he can make a lot of money too, but since now WG is making more money for JYPE than Rain now, of course he will say that...hopefully JYP isn’t going to say that about another artistes of his when they make more money than WG later..

They’re both bad,IMO. Korea hasn’t produced anything good in years. Instead, they copy shi**y western/american music. Which also hasn’t produced anything good in years. *sigh*

But the kiddies don’t care. They’ll buy anything with a pretty face. Despite how bad the music sounds.

Samurai, that’s an ignorant statement. Sure, a lot of the kpop stars haven’t produced anything worthy but if you actually take the time to find some good artists (mostly underground) you will find that there is actually a lot of talent.

Isnt it true though, like after rain left JYP what good thing has been going his way. Speed racer was a bust even if he had like 1 line, and his ninja movie is gonna suck too. He should of just stayed with JYP and used his connections in the US instead of trying to make it on his own… which isnt doing and its never gonna happen

Nozomi… And I bet you blame your parents for all your failures. Rain should have better prepared himself, don’t blame others for it. Rain wouldn’t even be where he is today if it wasn’t for JYP.

The fact that Rain even GOT the lead role in the Ninja Assassin movie makes him a success not a failure.  Why does JYP always bring up Rain in his interviews?  I know reporters probably ask him about Rain but it seems like JYP is still not over the fact Rain left him.  JYP needs to get over the fact that Rain is gone...then he needs to move on.

It’s the truth though...JYP accepted Rain and saw talents in him even if everybody else said that he’s too ugly to even make it in the industry...it’s Rain’s fault and he didn’t use his head...he shouldn’t have done that when he’s starting over...he just risk his career…

JYP was the one who took Rain to America when Rain was for sure not prepared...so the reason Rain isn’t making money is quite obvious. But again, JYP could just be stating facts, so maybe making a huge fuss about it isn’t all that needed. (It’s not like it will stop fangirls though.)

no matter how much i think JYP is a music genius but come on....Rain has tons of hit songs..he is one of the biggest korean icons ! i’m wondering if there is other reasons involve for saying sth like that !!!

Technically Bi was really successful when he was still with JYP. After he left and started his own entertainment group, his fame plummetted. I think he was too greedy and that greed landed him on the bottom. C’mon, what are the chances that an ASIAN will make it in the US? It’s pretty low. There are those successful few that actually made it but other than that .. everyone else have failed miserably. I wouldn’t consider the Wonder Girls to be “up there”. Half of them can’t even sing. YooBin doesn’t even rap, she lip-syncs. SoHee has a pitchy voice, & her face just annoys me. Anyways, JYP can’t compare Wonder Girls with Bi. They are two different things.

rain was one of the talents that made JYP a credible name in the producing circuit. he should at least thank him for that.
i guess if that’s his way to promote the wonder girls. the fractions are a bit boggling but i get the point.
i wouldn’t be surprised if he retracted his comment in the coming weeks and blamed GQ for misquoting him.

Just wait 2 years and everything that had anything to do with JYP will fail.
WG will suck, except Sunye.
Rain will just fail.
JYP will be even older, uglier, and no will like him.

that’s right, Rain is nothing without JYP.  WonderGirls would be nothing without JYP.  JYP is a genius for making nothings into somethings like Rain and Wondergirls.

JYP is incredible, i mean if you look at the people hes produce a lot of them are mediocre looking and/or can’t sing. However he still manages to make them into mega stars.
