Girls' Generation aka SNSD recently put up an apologetic message to the fans on their official homepage. This coming shortly after all the drama that happened at the Dream Concert which was more of a nightmare for SNSD.

Here is a rough translation of the letter:
To all our fans who love us:

Hello fans, this message is from Girls' Generation:

This will be the first time for us to put a message on our website, and we should've had it up sooner. Ever since our debut and for the past 10 months, we have been receiving a lot of support from our fans. We are enjoying our current success because of you. We've shared a lot of good memories that we can reminisce on. From our debut performance that we waited all our lives for. The first meeting with fans after our debut performance. When we reached our first #1 ranking, where we cried. Our "rookie artist award", which was one of our goals we wanted to attain when we were just trainees. Into the new world, Kissing You, and Baby Baby. Despite all the hard work and hectic schedules, we were all happy.

We are grateful and would like to thank all our fans for all the happy memories you have provided us. The past 10 months were full of great memories. Unfortunately, there are also some memories that we regret. We are saddened, these regretful events was a learning experience for us and we've matured from it. Some of the regrets were our lack of proper respect, our inappropriate comments that have hurt people. We apologize to all those whom we offended, in the future we will be more aware of our behavior.

We thank everyone who were with us always. Those who loved, cared, and trusted in us. We cannot thank you enough, it was heartwarming to see all our fans who would wave the pink balloons no matter where we went. The only thing we can give in return is to work harder and sing with all our passion.

We are planning to show you the improved SNSD. We continue to train hard and improve ourselves.

Be good, and stay healthy.

Girls' Generation SNSD Apology Letter

I don't understand why they're apologizing in the first place. Korean celebrities need to grow some balls, although Hyo yeon already has a pair. Next time, they should tell the anti-fans to shove it up where the sun don't shine. But I'll gladly shove mine up where the sun don't shine for these girls, except Hyo Yeon, SeoHyun (Chris Hansen alert), and also the one ugly girl who's related to Lee Soo Man (whatever the hell her name is).

I’ll totally kiss their ass, no questions asked.
I’ll totally do Sunny.  I don’t know what you are talking about.

I have no idea why they’re apologzing either.  But kpop is a business, pride will only get in the way of profit.

It seems like they did it because they had to and not because they wanted to. Why are they addressing this to their fans? Their fans were supporting them. They should have apologized to the people they disrespected. Nonetheless, they apologized so whatever. Not gonna hate them.

oh yeah and Yoona should apologize for her face

lol… If you think about it, it’s better to apologize to the fans more than the antis. It’s not like the antis would give a damn anyways… they’d actually claim it as a fake. (There’s a possibility… but god… so much pessimists here -o-)

I’m glad they apologized or at least their reps apologized. Someone apologized right?? lol. I think the antis should apologize too for “The Silence.” I mean that was rather harsh and at least SNSD apologized. The boys who allegedly did those awful things should apologize too, SNSD fan or not. I respect SNSD for apologizing now. And even if it wasn’t a specific apology to the antis, it was still an apology.
Anyways, that’s my two cents.

well at least they’re apologizing even if it’s them or not. Highly doubt it’s them though....
But watever, Dream Concert shouldn’t had went that way. >_< Fans needs to take a reality check. and Anti-Fans needs to stop being lilo babies and quit whining so much.

Honestly apologizing don’t cut it . . .
Saying sorry for something that’s already done and made fun of . . . no!!

Chi Chi is the best . . .

chichi: oh yea, since apologizing has no use, they really should’ve just rammed some shovels up the antis’ asses right?
you dunce.

I dont find this apology useful at all, the antis are still negative anyways, since they can’t see sense to begin with. But oh well, at least now the antis don’t have anymore excuses to “justify” their immature “protection for their oppas (ew)”.

i have a feeling “The Silent Treatment” at the concert is going to backfire on the antis and make SNSD even more famous because people are going to feel sorry for them LOL..

the apology was forced by their company i doubt any of them really meant it. and to be honest most of their rude and offending behavior really wasn’t that rude and offending. poor girls.

while the translation was nice and all, the original looked a lot less professional, full of little hearts and emoticons. it seems like they’re only apologizing because so many people wanted them to and the apology itself didn’t even take up a quarter of the message. and the apology was to their fans who, in my opinion, should be doing the real apologizing. if snsd should be apologizing for anything, it should be to the other people they think they “disrespected” or whatever, or take responsibility for their fans. but the fact that they put up an apology is nice, i suppose. i’m not exactly a soshi-fan (more of a cassiopeian myself ;] ) but i do enjoy some of their music and i hope that they’ve matured from the dream concert and got a nice reality check.

more of an apology...they should do it! if they’re going to change, especially Tiffany and Yoona (who said that their not surreal like S.E.S...yeah, sure)...and Jessica should stay away from Jae because she’s the last person I would want for any guy that I know...they should show respect if they really do want to change…

i dont understand the “apologizing letter” .. 0__0
instead of doing this they should have said they were deeply shocked by the behaviour of some of their fans which stabbed people @ the dream concert !!!!!!! if they have some guts they should have told their crazy fans about this ,cause im sure they have some influence on these weird fanatic guys who did this ,this was gone way too far ,almost killing people for a live show ! artists are used to antis and stuff ,this is part of their jobs to accept it or to ignore it but playing with people’s lives is insane .

45.  axbycz (Unregistered User)
Jun 13, 2008 - 09:04 PM

eerrr,
they didn’t stab anybody.
it was just a rumor that a fan brought a knife in.
and it’s already proven that it wasn’t a knife,
it was a mp3 player.

all i know is that no was stabbed,
but i do think that some fc were fighting against each other.
but not to the point where they had to be sent to the hospital.
b/c the press would’ve talked about it.

nah, some got sent to hospitals because they tried to get better seats and fell. it was in the paper.
as for the apology, i agree i’m not sure why they have to, but yeah whatever, the antis should get a life.
