The position of host(s) became vacant since SS501 (the former hosts) are going to Japan. With the recruitment of Alex and Chae Yeon, the shows producers hope to continue to appeal to young audiences (20 -30 age demographic).

I think Alex is a player. His image seems to appeal to me that way. I mean doing all the romantic things with Shin Ae brings me an image of him already experienced with other girls before her. I remember seeing an episode of YMMS with him on it, and he’s talking about girls.
