BoA to come back after 3 years?

The reporter stated that BoA is planning to return with a target date for late September - October and that she is secretly filming her music video in the shadows. This got some of the BoA fans in Korea buzzing.
Unfortunately, this same reporter later stated that he had received misinformation and that she wasn't planning a comeback. The video she was filming was for a documentary for her fans and not a secret music video for a new album.
All this got me thinking, when is BoA actually coming back to Korea with a new album? Sure, she's enjoyed much success in Japan but it's been 3 years since she released "Girls on Top." I hope there was some truth to the rumors / misinformation and that BoA releases a new Korean album very soon. Sure SM Entertainment is quite busy with their other artists and their upcoming releases, but there is only one BoA.

i agree with Loco_Roco, her japanese songs are getting a little weak. they don’t pack as much punch like they did before. -_-

I think Boa should wait until next year because DBSK is making a comeback this year and this might cloud one or both of there comebacks. I am pretty sure SM isnt gonna “let” her do it, because they want to magnify everything to its fullest potential. And about the filming, i am sure that if she is filming a MV her fans would know about it, she is probably filming that “road to success” thing that SM has planned with SBS.
I think that Boa should take like a year off and come back with a brand new start next year around this time, because her japanese works arnt really selling well. And when she does come back from not working in the business for a year she will finally find the love she had for it again, and blow the korean market wide open again like she did when she released Girls on Top.

^yep...it’s probably that show the untold story featuring DBSK, BoA, SuJu, and Kangta about their untold stories and families…
and yeah...her Japanese works are not selling much these days now...unlike 2003-2005 when her albums sell million and her singles sell thousands...when 2007 started she didn’t sell much anymore…
I’m sure many of her Korean fans would be waiting for her...but she shouldn’t make comeback when DBSK is there…

BoA is alright. It would be nice to see her have a comeback, but I honestly don’t think her music is good - it’s just gone downhill. Hopefully a comeback means better music. =/

as much as i like snsd and wg, i think it’s about time that the real talent comes back aka BoA and The Grace and shows these newbies how it’s really done. neither snsd or wg have the quality live performances like they do
True Boa’s latest jap. singles have not been doing well. she’s said it herself she’s just not enjoying it as much as she used to.
what she needs is a break and a korean comeback, though i heard she still is working on a US debut, but not this year.

Manaka- BoA is the biggest star in korea, and she’s successful in Japan. BoA aka Asia’s byul, was the first korean artist to become #1 in the oricon charts. So she’s extremely successful.

i wonder what kind of market she would attract in korea nowadays...she isn’t the new and shiny like WG and SNSD…
i think she has better vocal, dancing, and performance skills than her contemporaries...she may have cooled off in recent years but i imagine that anyone in the korean market could only wish to have such a successful career as hers...no one has even come close to her success, imo…
