Big Bang makes the VIP Wait

Earlier this week, Johnnydorama reported that Big Bang was going to release their 3rd mini-album "Stand Up," on August 1, 2008 (08 08 01 on the video). Well that may all change, according to unconfirmed reports on the internet - some VIP's are saying that the date has been changed to August 8, 2008 (or 08 08 08).

Some VIP's have suggested that the reason for the date change was simply because 08 - 08 - 08 is a cool date (sort of like Se7en day last year, 07 - 07 - 07). The Beijing Olympics opening day is also August 8th.

There is no confirmation that the rumors of this new release date are true as YG Entertainment has been tight lipped thus far. However, a lot of VIP's believe this to be true - we'll wait and see however.

Yeah I heard it was 8-8-08 also… I bet half the reason for the delay is to build up extra suspense for everyone who’s already been waiting *forever* for the album. I actually thought their plans from wayyy back were to release a full album in August, instead of the mini album… So I wonder when the full album is coming out...?

actually i think that their ALBUM release is on August 1, 2008
but their COMEBACK is August 8, 2008

I like GhostWriter...s/he doesn’t bash the artist...well, maybe s/he just likes them…
anyway...08 or 01...it will just be delayed for a week...and yeah...8-8-8 is cooler…

actually, the whole album is like kind of based for the olympics so they held it back because of that and not because it sounds cool, which it does.

This Mini-album is going to be quite something, Big Bang are collaborating with the Japanese ‘Daishi Dance’ and ‘No Brain’ who are closer to the rock genre(to be vague). I personally don’t know of other mainstream korean groups, collaborating with niche yet solid established musicians.

It may well be different to what Big Bang has offered before, or i may be making a bold statement, either way...everyone of Big Bang’s Mini-Album’s sold amazingly well, and were widely appreciated.

^ mzwicked321tard clearly hates when people post on an article just to say, “first!” lol so that’s why something was said. I hate that too but I choose to ignore it.
Back to Big Bang: YG does push things back often but he never did this for Big Bang before. He always has their stuff released on time while other YG artists are delayed for like, ever lol

I really dont care about whats going on in Asia, I just want to see Big Bang again, I’ve been missing them. Well I’ve just been missing Tae Yang and Daesung really.

it’s the same day with beijing olympics. of course 080808 is a cool date. for chinese, it’s a very lucky number. whether u guys like it or not, big bang’s music is great (except the Engrish album). i think it will be awesome.

i’m patient. i’m excited for this new release. YG are eager beavers though and this is pretty quick considering all their solo projects. especially taeyang. YG is workin’ them to the bone.
