1Tym is a popular Korean hip hop group consisting of four members. The four members include Oh Jin Hwan, Teddy Park, Song Baek Kyoung, and Danny Im (aka Taebin). Teddy Park & Danny Im attended Diamond Bar High School in California & were friends, they auditioned for Brothers Entertainment. They were sent to Korea and were then introduced to YG Entertainment (one of the biggest Korean Record Companies). YG liked what they saw in Teddy & Danny, and decided to create a group, but YG wanted the new group to have a large amount of members. They auditioned many people and finally found their third & fourth members in Baek Kyoung & Jin Hwan. Originally, 1Tym was supposed to have seven members but they later cut it down to four before recording the first album. They have had a lot of success in their careers & collaborated with other YG Entertainment artists such as Jinusean & Se7en. Currently, Jin Hwan is in the Korean Military to server the mandatory 2 year service for all Korean Males while Danny & Teddy returned to California. Baek Kyoung formed a temporary group called Moo Ga Dang (translated to english as Sugarless). They plan to record a new album once Jin Hwan is done with his military service.
