It’s never about the talent, it’s the promotion. All these crossovers are more talented than a lot of mainstream artists. NONE of them have the funding/connections that is required to break through. I know a lot were counting on SM entertainment. Please, if they had anything, BoA would be on the TV channels and radio stations by now. The only one who had money to use for this was Utada, and her label (IDJ) won’t let her get anywhere near it.
