Yang Dong Geun: Pulling a Yoo Seung Jun?

Actor Yang Dong Geun has decided to postpone his admittance into the military in order to shoot a movie.
Yang Dong Geun is one of many male celebrities who were to be enterting the military this year. However, after receiving lots of love and attention from fans through his most recent drama 'I Am Sam' and his new album, he has decided to return to the big screen. His past films, "Fighter in the Wind" (ë°”ëžŒì˜ íŒŒì´í„°), Wild Card (와ì¼ë“œ ì¹´ë“œ) and Monopoly (모노í´ë¦¬), all showed how talented of an actor he is, so we are looking forward to his return to the big screen.
Although, Yang received his military admittance letter not too long ago, his representative has announced that they have decided to postpone the date.
The movie scenario is still being being reviewed, but they are scheduled to begin filming very soon. This movie will be Yang's last appearance before being admitted to the military - we don't think he'll be pulling a Yoo Seung Jun.

I don’t see why they need to postpone just so they can film a movie? They should just go ahead and serve and come back and make a movie. Well, to me it seems logical that way because when you are gone then come back maybe your ratings will go up higher.

i think postponing the military date is not that bad(but this is a American girl talking,so what do i know.) but i think that when actors and male music artists postpone their military date it’s their last stich in getting some work done before leaving for a long time(2years is a long time for someone to be out of the public eye,esp when there’s more younger talent trying to take your place). when they film movies the release date of those movies are sometimes are at the end of the year that they filmed it in or released the early part of the following year, and by that time the actor is already in the military serving his time(oh i mean serves). so that last bit of work that he did by postponing his serves date is able to keep him in the public eye just a little bit longer.
so i don’t see a problem in postponing the date.

^ Ditto jinny! Yoo Seung Jun did a conniving thing & didn’t own up to his responsibility as a Korean male in Korea . At least Yang Dong Geun had the decency to postpone it.
