And the Wonder Girls also kicked off their US tour with the Jonas Brothers last night! From the fancams it seems the crowd was very accepting of the girls, which is a great sign.

congrats to them…but its kinda funny….the songs that got me to like them..arent the ones that got them popular..i like Irony and This fool…but w/e…more power to them…BUT..i thought it would completely be different from the kor. version…and the dub was laughable…and tell me…ughh…was that even in english??..lol..okay im done..they’re working hard

I’m very happy Wondergirls producers stuck with the same mv just changing the language to english because like Tablo recently said, people are trying to become more American, thinking that way, they can enter the american market. I find that really sad to hear. Hope WG retain their Asian-ness as Tablo said. So fans before their American debut will still stick with them. Otherwise, they’d feel dissed at seeing their stars do weird wtf stuff. B ut so far so good.

I saw the pics on JYP’s twitter and you could definitely see all the obvious Jonas Brothers fans buying Wonder Girls merchandise. The new generation of fans is born.

@ Niuniu: are you kidding me? you can still do an entirely new music video while still maintaining who you are. dubbing the music video is the result of either a low budget or lack of effort. i prefer to believe the former. they could have also debuted with an entirely different song that still showed America who they are. what i think tablo is referring to is se7en, who completely changed the way he talked, the way he acts, and the way the music video was made.
I like how they stuck to the original concept and changed up a few things i.e. the hair and dancing near the end. Go WG!! ^^
@zoom: I have to agree with you on SE7EN. Not feeling his new morph. =\ I hope WGs stay true to themselves in the business. I hear artists don’t have much control over their music, and I hope it doesn’t happen to them.
It sounds good! It seems like they have been working really hard. I’m glad that the crowd didn’t stone them, but this was at a “Jonas Concert.” I hope the rest of America will be as receptive. ::Cross my fingers::

i’d say it was a decent performance. altho their vocals were all over the places, it was their first performance in the US, so they were a bit nervous and shaken. however, i have faith the WG will make some noise in the US! =D

Did they actually dub some parts in the MV? Looks kind of retarted.. Haha. And their voices are definitely stronger in Nobody. Tell Me sounds good although you really can’t hear their voices, which is a little sad. I feel kind of sorry for them though that the audience is so quiet. Screaming every once in a while during the performance but duh, that’s it. Hopefully non-fans actually take a look at them as well (:

The problem is that people are going to think that their RETRO.. when all their styles are different. That’s the problem.. when you’re in Korea.. you can change your image over and over.. but in America you have to stick to one type.. you can’t just be a country star and turn into a rap star.. so, if they release “So Hot” or “Tell Me” MV people are going to give them baggage.

Supposedly Ye Eun english is the best but for some reason I understand Sun Mi the most when she sings. I can’t believe the sang Tell Me. It was the english version eh? I curious to hear it. Anyways, it’s great that some people were cheering for them! =)

i think the audience isn´t really feeling it .. because when sunmi(?) or some one said “-everybody!” it was all quiet .. my personal opinion is that korean music is alot differnent from american .. not rasist or anything just saying that it maybe is hard for them to understand or like ,-tell me,-nobody.. not only the language but .. ash i hope you understand.. but not in a wrong way
