Which of your favorite K-pop stars has the cutest Engrish?

I know we've all covered our mouths giggling as we watched our favorite K-pop artists stumble their way through a conversation in English, ramble off in inappropriate slang that you know they learned from a book or or stare blankly at the person speaking fluently to them.

I've managed to get some clips together of most of our favorite stars, some speaking in hilarious Engrrish, some speaking very well and some... well, I'll just let you see for yourself.

Out of all these stars, who do you think has the most adorable Engrrish?

Who knew SHINee's Key spoke English so well? And supposedly his skills are purely based on lessons--he's never lived abroad!

For those who don't know, back during Super Junior's early days they had a show called "Super Junior Full House" that just basically surrounded their new careers and placed 2 exchange students who both spoke English fluently in their house to live with them. While the students were staying there, the SuJu boys took English classes in their home and here are one of the few hilarious results:

After his comeback on Ya Shim Man Man 2, in the first segment, Rain is prompted by Jun Jin to converse with Nichkhun in English. There is an air of awkwardness but it's still very cute... later, Kang Ho Dong is messing with him, Rain responds with a cool phrase:

During a fanclub event in Japan, TVXQ's Micky and Junsu break into some random English before a sports endurance test... clearly, Micky hasn't been tutoring Junsu at all!

That SS501 video never fails to crack me up. I’ve watched it so many times! I had the hardest time figuring out what the heck they were trying to say. XD

It’s true Key never really lived abroad, but he did go to the States for exchange for a few months. I’m amazed by his great English pronunciation for the little time he spent outside Korea.

If I don’t remember wrongly, Nick Khun said (about Rain’s English) “His English is as good as my Korean” LOL., Of course, Khun’s Korean is not fantastic - he is Thai!

Rain can only manage short (rehearsed) sentences. Try getting him into a 10 min conversation, he’ll get his intestines twisted up ie. will look constipated.

Oh btw, I heard the boy (Rain) has never greeted fans (in online clips to his fans) in English. So much for being a ‘World Star”.

I like this article. English is for international communication, not for discrimination. Be able to make a conversation in Engling is just a plus, not a requirement unless they intend to invade the world market. I love all their accents. Some of these clips look faked and awkward, but it just mean that they try hard for their career.

DBSK are not good in english at all, and I just love how they try and make fun of themselves. Rain have tried and tarined hard for his english, and I respect him for that. Despite of bad english, Rain’s achievement is a prove for his hard-working and talents.

WG actually spoke pretty good English, so I won’t count that as Engrish. XD
The SUJU comparison on the English meeting as compared to the Korean meeting made me laugh. They’re such cute dorks XD. SS501’s was just… was that even Engrish X)?
But Hyori and Junsu were probably the cutest. And that guy in the elevator definitely thought Hyori was prettyyyyyy.
