I’m not contradicting. Teddy does some of the producing for YG (and barely any Big Bang songs). But Listen to 1Tym’s music and Big Bang’s music, there’s a big difference in quality. It’s all personal preference though.

It’s kind of how some hip hop heads think hip hop is dying because of all the souljah boy crap (the quality of music is decreasing).

Get yo mind right, is your mind right? I dont see where you got johnny from and I dont see where it says 1tym is hip hop. Also 1tym music isnt that good, its just that big bang music is so bad that 1tym sounds good compared to them. The only real hip hop people that became popular in korea was drunken tiger.

I would kill YG if they’re not given a chance. As much i like to admit that BIG BANG has recently marked a spot for itself in the industry, 1TYM are real music makers!

1TYM-FOH-UR-MIND, Teddy & Perry aren’t the same person. Perry isn’t even full Korean and he’s from Guam. Danny & Taebin are the same person (taebin being his korean name).

w.e. - they didn’t produce much music for Big Bang. Teddy did produce one or two songs for Big Bang, but most of Big Bang’s entire library of music was produced by Perry.

1TYM was awsome! We need the oldschool YG back. Perry should start performing again, I can’t wait for Gummy to recover, and what the hell happened to Jinusean’s new song? They performed it ONCE and I never heard about it again. Big Bang needs more damn Korean songs too!!! >.<  1TYM is definitely one of YG’s best artists. Hopefully they will come back soon. I doubt they’ll retire/disband. Rappers stick around longer than singers do.

^ thinkfirst—I totally agree.  I am a big bang fan and its so funny when I read people bashing them.  They are a a hip hop inspired boy band.  they are not stevie wonder.  is some of there music repetitive, do they use sampling and remakes ...of course.  So does most pop out there regardless of its country of origin.  Heck Puffy/Puff Daddy/P.Diddy made an entire 300 mill empire off of sampling and copying.  If you don’t like it don’t listen,  Big Bang makes fun music.  There have never purported to make the more concious hip-hop like say drunken tiger or common.  If 1Tym comes back that will be just more fun good music out there.

I think Big Bang is all right, but TOP has always felt like a Teddy wannabe.  1TYM was amazing as a group and put out some great music, and they separated themselves from the rest of the boy bands out there by doing their own thing.  As much as I would love another solo from Taebin/Danny or heck, finally a solo release for Teddy, I’d be more than happy to see 1TYM return and kick the kids out, show them how it’s done.

^Totally agree w/ Zeeny. They had a distinct stlye that made them stand out. IMO, they’re still not too old to start making songs again. I don’t think the article is calling Big Bang “unoriginal” but rather a 2nd generation 1TYM. I still think they’re the BEST YG group/artist to this day. Big Bang is good but I don’t think they’ll surpass 1TYM music-wise. As cool as their solo works are, I would be happier with a 1TYM comeback as well.
