Bad idea, it’d be better with them to stick in the United States.  If they want to be a hit over there, they can’t just stay for a year and expect success.  It doesn’t work like that in the States.

I saw this singing contest game show thing on a chinese channel, and a guest/contestant sung part of a chinese lyric for Nobody. The chinese version wasn’t bad at all. It was actually better than the english, even though i only heard part of the chinese one><. However, I searched for a Nobody chinese version and there was none, so i guess the version that that guy sung was with fanmade lyrics. Anyways, that was a while ago and you can say that WG and Nobody was already popular in China before=)

i remember they performed in China already earlier this year….

I support them anywhere but i kind want them to go back to Korea and make new music ...

speaking of wonder girls, as of the coming Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, Nobody will be debuting at Number 76. Quite a good Achievement for their Hard Work in the US. Just continue to work hard girls and always keep your feet on the ground! Good Luck on everything Girls!

BTW, regarding their Nobody in China, I’m not chinese but one of my Chinese friend said a few months ago, a lot of people in China already like Nobody because many of themm would go on their messenger and say sth like “Love Nobody- WG” or “I’m listening to Nobody of WG”, etc.

i see they actually been gaining more fans now, and my non-asain friends are starting to recognized them too (well kinda but it was a start :/ they just called them the asian girl group or those asian teens)

I love “Nobody”, but I must admit that I hope they come out with a or some new songs soon. I guess anyone who has been listening to them before they went to the states is getting kind of annoyed by the song ^^; It’s good, but it’s a bit too much.

I’m really proud that the Wonder Girls are getting more popularity in the US. Even my friends (who normally aren’t Korean listeners =P) have heard and loved the English version of “Nobody” & randomly started singing it in class (surprising me, LOL). I hope they achieve more success, they’re really able to [:

sure, I guess its some kinda achievement…but damn NOBODY is getting old…and fast.

I wish they would just focus on the U.S., but they have been planning this for awhile if I’m not mistaken so it’s fine. Can’t wait to see how they do and to get their album!

Wow wonder girls are really pushing their name all over the world! I’m so proud of them! but honestly if JYP doesnt give them some new music I’ll scream!! I know the rest of the world is just catching on to the Nobody craze…but the rest of us would love something….ANYTHING…..

If it’s true that they’ll chart at #76, then congrats.
Though I don’t think they’ve come close to making it or will ever make it, it’s still a better step than BoA and Se7en (but that’s not saying much).
I expect them to fall off by next week unless they start paying or somehow convincing radios to play it. Hot 100 is about 6:4 radio:sales, so they can’t depend on tour/Justice/little teenage girls/diehard Korean fans to help them continuously.
That’s one thing BoA, Se7en, WG, even Utada should do. Start paying the radios.

The Chinese thing is basically a backup for any fails in America. People are always doing it: Utada released Exodus & TITO in both Japan and America so that if her American ones fail (and they did), then she could say that she did well in Japan. BoA released BEST & USA in Japan and BoA/BoA Deluxe in America, so that if her American album failed (and it did), then she can say that she did well in Japan. WG are promoting in China so that if their US album/career fails, then they’ll say that they hit it big in China. The only catch is that they actually have to make it in one of the two; BoA & Utada already had strongholds in foreign markets, WG do not (except Thailand which is like Korea Part II). A concert will not guarantee success in China, only more tired WG & worse performances (as a result).
I trust JYP to be a lot smarter than SM & more efficient than YG, but he should play it safe for this one. If they concentrate on America, and miraculously make it in America, then China will follow. America is the world market; China is not (and that’s sad, considering its population).
