TOP heads to Japan to film IRIS, Big Bang busy with solo activities
T.O.P. of Big Bang arrived in Japan today to film for the highly anticipated drama, IRIS. This coming the day after the IRIS Teaser Poster was released. He arrived in Akita, Japan along with the CEO of YG Entertainment and former Seo Taiji member Yang Hyun Suk. The drama supposedly has a budget of around $22,000,000 US and is estimated to bring in almost $3,000,000 to the local economy in Akita prefecture, where some scenes for the drama will be filmed.
With TOP filming for "IRIS," Big Bang will be busy with the individual activities. Seung Ri has been promoting the movie "Why Did You Come to My House", and will begin shooting for "TeleCinema - My 19th Year" and "71." G-Dragon is planning for a solo album to be released in April. Taeyang is planning for his 2nd solo album that will be released after G-Dragon's, they don't want competition against each other. While Daesung is concentrating on his "Family Outing" activities. They originally planned to go to America to to take a break and a much needed vacation, but with so many opportunities at hand they have put all that aside. This is all great for them, but I can't wait until they come back together as Big Bang.
