Young Americans use “like” a lot too when they speak, especially teenage girls.  But that doesn’t mean they aren’t fluent.

But then again, I guess teenage American girls don’t really know how to speak English….

lol. cute interview. i don’t think those guys meant to ‘make fun’ of the girls when they were teaching the dance. that’s just how american guys react when they don’t know what the heck theyre doing. and cuz they’re not used to the “acting cute stuff” like the guys in the asian countries do.

Wondergirls…fighting!

Great to see the girls branching out and getting more exposure. I think they do need to work on their interviewing schools a bit though. Ye Eun does most of the talking which is fine, but it would be nice to hear from everyone else a bit more. So Hee did not say one word the whole time. You can tell that Sun Ye wants to take the lead since its a natural role for her, but she’s still not comfortable with her English. Keep up the hard work, girls! Wishing you only success in the United States! Saranghaeyo!

Oops! I mean interviewing “skills” not “schools.” Sorry. Anyway, maybe they should work on having each girl be ready with a prepared answer for the different questions that come up since they pretty much will be asked the same questions at this point in their U.S. experience. Just a thought.

OMG! They have improved a lot! I have to say though, that only YeEun, SunYe and Yoobin do the talking. It would be cool to hear SunMi and Sohee participate a bit more. They must study like 5hrs. a day because they have learned so much already. I love how YeEun was like “I was about to die” lol

kind of amusing how fans say THEIR english has improved so much when 98 % it’s ye eun talking. sun ye gets on my nerves, why can’t she be just normal..like in korea?! what’s with this sickening sweet “yeah~” and “ohs~” ?! And when she doesn’t really know what to say, why don’t she let others talk? Gosh, she starts the answer, and in the middle she giggles and stops with “yeah~”..thanks ye eun is there to save the situation lie..always xD

I think they were pretty good. I don’t think it was the Wonder Girls’ fault for any awkwardness, I really think they did well, it’s just that the hosts didn’t put much effort into it - yeah, making faces didn’t really make me feel great either.
I was impressed by Yeeun’s english. WOW. She was talking for most of the interview. I wish the others could’ve talked a bit more, though. xD
And even if they laughed a lot, would you rather they not laugh at all and look unenthusiastic?

i thought the interview was great it didn’t seem like they were making fun of the girls to me. The girls looked great. They spoke well especially Ye Eun. Yoobin spoke well too.
