The Oricon Comet Returns to Japan

The piano playing, pop-rock singing rookie, Younha, has decided to put her activities in Korea on hold. She has decided to return to her fans in Japan with a new album.
Younha was a huge superstar in Japan long before she was known in Korea. She made her Korean debut with her first single 'Audition (Time 2 Rock)'. After receiving an immense amount of attention, she made her official debut with her first album 'ê³ ë°±í•˜ê¸° ì¢‹ì€ ë‚ (The Perfect Day to Say I Love You)', making a big hit with her single '비밀번호 486 (Password 486)'. She gained even more fans with her latest album and single '혜성 (Comet)', earning an award for best rookie.
Younha is planning on taking a break from work for a while, and then she will be back on her feet getting her album ready. Nicknamed the 'Oricon Comet' for her tremendous success in Japanese music charts, she will return to her supportive fans. As of right now, she will only be concentrating on working in only Japan.

I believe Younha tried out for SM Entertainment but they didn’t think she had the talent & appearance that they were aiming for. Then Stam Entertainment thought otherwise & signed her into their agency. What a great choice Stam Etertainment made. Now look at how much she’s accompished! I bet SM Entertainment is kicking themselves in the ass for passing such an opportunty up!!
Her voice is pretty amazing!

She really wasn’t… none of her singles sold very well albeit Houki Boshi was relatively popular.

She wasn’t a huge superstar but she was more well known in Japan than Korea at the time. Having the ending song for a popular anime bleach. Also having a couple songs in the top 20 and one song in the top 10.

It’s funny how no one wanted her in Korea, and because of her love for Japan, she got pretty big there. But now that she went back to Korea, she got even bigger.
I hope she does well in her comeback to Japan. She’s SO freaking talented. It even surprised me when I saw her dance a few times (Kim Jong Kook, Wonder Girls, KARA, etc)! She can speak Korean and Japanese, sing REALLY well in English, play the piano (even upside down!)... And she’s not even 20 yet! Alls I gotta say, is what a talent.

i hope she didn’t have any surgery because shes the only person (whos a rookie) that has a really pretty face and looking normal at the same time. i love her music! korea needed a different kind of genre anyway like pop rock i guess. i was getting sick of all pop stuff

She totally deserves all the popularity. SM made a really bad decision to let go of Youn-ha… really really bad. lol
Can’t wait for her next album/single. Anything she sings is just awesome. =) A great singer indeed.
