LOL, oh lord! Why did she even try? Doesn’t she realize she is hated by many and most just don’t even want to bother to hate her? Wasn’t she apart of SM and then dissed SM? Her comeback is a failure just from the start. She fucked up her own image from the beginning and now there is no way way to get a second chance. No matter how people say “oh I hope her attitude changes or I hope she has matured.” No doubt she probably learned her mistake but the damage is already done. No offence to anyone Miss HO doesn’t fit any music style image (innocent, gangster, fab…) She should just finish her education (if she even continued it) and live life normal since NOTHING is going to change about her.

I actually like the song. She sounds a lot better than some of female Korean artists I have heard lately.

i have to admit, she has really strong nice vocals but her look is all wrong. she doesn’t even look gangsta… if that’s what she’s aiming for. her pencil drawn eyebrows don’t make her look thuggish at all, it just makes her look cheap. imagine when it rains, her brows will disappear!! i do have to give her props for speaking her mind, though talking trash about another artist is not something you’d want to be talking about especially if you’re trying to enter the music industry in Korea.

yes, she is kind of bitchy, but things she said about Boa weren’t that offensive. In the States, artists constantly diss each other, and nobody pays attention to any of that, then why do you guys care about korean pop industry which is on the other side of the planet??

i like korean music, but i could care less what scandals they have there, let alone what artists think about other artists.

I realize that she is completely allowed to have her own opinions - everyone is. I agree that not everyone has to believe BoA is GOD (even if I am a big fan of BoA, but this applies to any situation)- but there is a line between voicing your opinion and just being stupid.
So what if she hates BoA? In Asian cultures especially, respect is a HUGE thing. It doesn’t matter that she hates BoA - she can if she wants to, but in her case she should keep it to herself, or it WILL make a huge dent in her career. Also, since BoA is her senior/elder/sunbae in a country where customs and politenes make up practially all society, she’s pratically bound by culture to show her respect in face even if she doesn’t like BoA.

And BoA in Korea is practically a legend; HUGE all over Asia (even if her popularity is “declining”) and whether or not you want to believe it, hating a celebrity (especially on as big as BoA) will get you a lot of antis. Especially when you’re a rookie in the industry with practically no background and no solid base - and you’re insulting/bashing someone who practically had the country in the palms of her hands at her peak.

In the Korean industry (and Asian music industries in general), the point is to be as scandal-free as possible. If you look at all the popular Korean celebrities these days - a large majority have a completely clean, scandal-free history. BoA’s never had a scandal, neither has Rain, Se7en, Hyori/Hyo-lee (She promotes sexuality, true, but she has the looks to back it up, and it’s not like she actually MADE a sex tape or anything), etc.

Chances are - even if the scandal is long over (years in this case, actually), the older generation, the people that knew of her existence when she debuted, will always remember it. T_T This isn’t America people - where you can practially get away with anything.

And this seems kinda harsh - but she doesn’t exactly ‘fit’ the Korean standard of what’s considered ‘beautiful’. She isn’t sexy, innocent (no duh), or exotic. She looks…cheap. Especially with all that make-up, which doesn’t really suit her. 

Make it big in Korea, Japan, and Asia in general, sell several million records, win a couple dozen prestigious Awards, earn a couple million bucks, THEN say what you want about other artists.

You have a point there, xx.forever. Well, I wrote my comment over 2 months ago now, and lol, since then I actually have grown to really like BoA. I think she’s a great artist and singer. I can acknowledge that she is a huge star in Asia, and her songs are really catchy and nice.

Still though, I’d have to repeat myself - I couldn’t care less if Jessica said bad things about her 4 years ago. BoA is great, Jessica wasn’t right when she said those things, but C’MON PEOPLE, cut her some slack. As if all of you are perfect, and you’ve never made mistakes in your life. I have made worse mistakes, but I can’t imagine that people want to remember that stuff forever, and hate on her. At least, stop saying that in order for someone to say something about someone, you need to achieve the same level as that person, ie earn millions of bucks, sell millions of your album’s copies, tour the workd etc etc. You don’t need that, believe me.

Again, BoA deserves admiration, she worked hard, and she’s a star now. BUT she hasn’t created anything by herself, all she does is follow her company, and her songwriters. I can’t possibly believe that she deserves more respect than, for example, my best friend does (who worked her ass off, and studied so hard to get an international scholarship, and finally was able to study at a University in North America that she could have never even dreamt of). Know what I mean?

As much as I like pop music, I can never take them seriously. Cause what they do is not exactly something amazing.
