Big bang had released 3 albums in japan, to SJ’s none. They do almost no promotion, and only released i think 3 singles there. Compared to dbsk spending 2 years promoting hardcore, and big bang promoting for months at a time.

Having pretty much no promotion besides a concert there awhile back, getting on the top 10 of the chart isn’t bad.

suju didn’t have direct promotion at japan, unlike dbsk, big bang,ss501, ft island and more,, who stay there and release japanese albums…plus marry u is a korean song.. marry u is a song from their last year album but still they manage to get 9th place…i’m really22222x proud of suju eventhough they didn’t work hard like others..hahahahahaha…I don’t care if they are looking crazy or retard, i still love them…SUJU FIGHTING..allkpop go 2 hell..

So what? They did no promotions or concerts for a loooong time, so 9th place isn’t that bad. Big Bang has been performing and released 2 albums. DBSK was working in Japan and is Asia’s star, so what do you expect from DBSK and BB? That’s really not that bad without any promotional activities, concerts, and only 1 album release. So let them celebrate, let them be happy, and stop bashing Shindong, okay? He’s actually doing a good job losing weight, so stop insulting SJ, because if it was you against ELF members, you’d lose by a mile.

Um, when did Super Junior celebrate this? I’ve heard of the fans being happy for them and all but not of Suju themselves celebrating it (as they should cause it’s still good). Or are you just making that up

I’m not really into Super Junior but getting into the top 10 is pretty good.. for the Oricon chart. They haven’t even promoted the song in Japan, unlike Big Bang & DBSK yet they could make to the top 10. When DBSK debuted in Japan, their first single only placed at the 20s or 10s. Correct me if I’m wrong.

How exactly did they celebrate anyway? I didn’t hear of them having a whole party or something? I know they thanked their fans, etc. Good point moonlight kpop sites usually conveniently leave out information, so i’m not that surprised by the vagueness of the accusation.

Not to bust anyone’s bubble but Top 9 in the Oricon DAILY chart is not considered an accomplishment at all… because sales can change drastically after one day. Like, someone can be number one on the daily but end up placing 20th overall if their sales drop like crazy for the next few days. And please don’t compare Super Junior to BB and DBSK, because SJ has a LONNGG way to go. They are still relatively unknown in Japan. I mean, BigEast knows them because they are from the same company as DBSK, but that’s about it…

Hankyung probally gonna leave Super junior for Acting career, hes staring in Return of Condor Hero Remake 2009, in about a year they’ll all break up for their own sake cuz i know they dont make that much in SM.

everyone makes such a big deal over how big bang debuted at 3rd and double s got 2nd and how when dongbang first debuted they didn’t chart very high. but i mean honestly, when it comes to ranking we also have to take into account how many units were sold. what was the competition like that week? getting in the top 10 is nice too but don’t compare the groups just by ranking because ranking does not truly reflect how well the artist sold.

but oh well~ congrats to suju i guess.

Maybe the Japanese aren’t that impressed with SUJU. They already got JE boys.  SUJU doesn’t bring anything different.  DBSK proved their singing abilities and Big Bang brought their hiphop/house/techno-flavor over there. But SUJU? I don’t know…

Funny how Kibum seems to be the only one in the picture who does not at all look enthusiastic. If he is smart, he’d really leave suju and seriously focus on a career of acting. And if the other members are smart, they’d leave too and enter diff fields according to their capabilities.
Many people don’t take suju seriously. To most of us, they’re just a bunch of funny gagmen. And not more.
But I do wish them well, that’s why I hope they’d go separate ways soon. PLEASE, for everyone’s sake.

ok even getting on the Oricon daily chart is very hard. especially when ur from another country.

They got onto the Oricon chart before at #4 with “U” without little to NO PROMOTION, which is the case here also. Plus, at least post of picture of them celebrating for this or some kind of proof of them celebrating instead of just saying it.
Trust me, they might seem lacking a bit of musical talent standing next to DBSK all day, but put them next to Japanese/Taiwanese/Chinese boy bands, they rise above them all.

I like some of suju boys, but never take them as a group =.= And i don’t think they can make something big in japanese market.

as a former fans who stop following them when the only13 rise I think they we’ll be lucky to have another years. Heechul and Leeteuk are too old to called as an idol now and they doing good in their own respect area. I feel bad for sungmin, kyuhyun, ryewook, and yesung who have decent voice but can’t really stand out in group with out standing personality or looks but they’re doing very good on sub-group.

Oricon 9th place is good, considered they only release an album as a thanks to japanese fans and not set any bar. Congrat to SUJU!!!

How come you don’t talk about how big they are in China, where they actually do heavy promotions in, Suju-M in China is actually considered one of the most talented groups, it’s about who you standing next to, In China, you see them crossing Fahrenheit once in a while, standing next to those no goods, Suju is golden.
