TO ALL CRAZY PEOPLE SAYING THEIR NOSE CHANGED:

1. Any celebrity, especially a member of an Idol group would be INSANE to get plastic surgery when everyone knows what they look like. It’s like “Hey! anti-fans!! Look, I got a plastic surgery and now you can all bash me!!!!”
2. Why in the world would get a plastic surgery when they already look so good??
3. Their noses haven’t changed. Look at the other pictures or them. They looke the same. When they take these pictures, there’s so many flashes that anyone can look different.

I became HyunJoong’s fan when I saw him in WGM, but then I started taking notice at all SS501 members and now I love JungMin most….. 
I still love all five of them though

To all the SS501 followers, if you knew them well why are you gals trying to throw stones on HJL ? You all know very well how much he love the group and WON’T DO anything tacky as : ” HEY whole world check me out ” like that….did he asked the writer to write that article? Did he asks the media to label him as Hyun Joong the great of all SS501? Let’s face it each one of them has followers and they are the one that is causing some of these nonsense and you loyal fans of SS501 are joining in, in making these accusations more believable ? Shame on you if you do so. I am a huge fan of the group and never would I bashed or say hurtful things on these individual guys. I’m sure the boys will be hurt upon seeing all these nasty comments. TheProdigy should learn to research before attempting to write articles.  It’s not Kim Hyun Joong fault he’s more recognized in the group, the media perpetrated it. You might admit hes not the most talented in SS501 but you cannot deny they got more exposure due to him. I learned about SS501 through WGM.  I think hes talented in his own way. So before making fun of his engrish and guitar skills, learn how to write with constructive criticism.

The slant of this article is ridiculous. I am a big fan of SS501 as a whole group, and they are all very close. Kim Hyun Joong constantly gives credit to his members, and they give credit to him. And, it’s quite obvious that he is the most popular member and that his charisma is responsible for a great deal of their success. To say otherwise is to deny the obvious.

The “disappointment” referenced was from a passing conversation from a variety show that was far from even being serious.

Allkpop is generally slanted against SS501, and generally I don’t care because I’m used to the unfairness, but sometimes it’s simply ridiculous.

i think you are being too hard on hyunjoong, yes the news shouldnt have been ALL about him..but he has worked so hard too…it seems like your bashing him but he has been working so hard, look at how busy he is, and how many times he has collapsed..and its true that the rest of the group deserves applause too, but you had to admit that hyunjoong has been doing a lot more than they have…dont get me wrong i think it shouldnt have been ALL about HJ either but i dont think we should discard the fact that he has been working very hard..

And it’s not his fault everyone is saying he’s “the main factor for all of SS501’s success”. He didn’t like go out and say that. People are making that up themselves and then going back and saying he can’t take all the credit. They’re all talented and make SS501 what it is.

This article is way harsh.  It’s a fact that SS501 is benefiting tremendously from Kim Hyun Joong.  I agree he is not the most musically talented, but he has really put in effort to get his band lots of recognition.  Even in his recent interview (the one that chicken co did with 70 women) he said he would do more CFs if the opportunity came up, and specifically asked for more CF opportunities with the rest of his group, you can check it out on youtube.  I thought that was really sweet… and do you think it’s a coincidence that ss501 sang the OST for BOF?  There are so many benefits for all of them because of HJ… it’s up to the rest of the group to parlay it into a bigger success.

I’ve been watching and listening Korean drama and music for 4 years and honestly before bof I’ve never heard of ss501. After watching bof I was curious of HJL and it motivated me to watch WGM and that when I became ss fan. What I’m saying here is at some point HJL took SS501 popularity to the next level. Obviously he is not the main factor of the success, he even not the best singer in the group , but his popularity help ss501 to get more oportunity. If Korean media only mention him as the reason of the band resent success don’t blame hjl blame the media….

Wah! It’s great that SS501 got appointed as Ambassadors, but I’m kinda sad that the media is saying Kim Hyun Joong is the cause of all of this success for them. Sure he was in a popular drama and show, but you have to give credit to the other members too. They worked just as hard. Triple S carried on the group while the other 2 were doing their own activities and they should be given some praise. I would have to say that SS501 as a whole should be praised all together instead of by one individual. I guess it’s a bit advantageous for them, but not for the other members in the recognition department. Kim Hyun Joong had SS501 before his drama and show. I knew of SS501 before Hyun Joong’s hype and they are all talented together.

Another point I wanted to say about my previous comment was that I’m not trying to bash him. I love Kim Hyun Joong and all, but Media is portraying him as the center of the light. I guess that’s what I’m trying to say. You’re right that he’s given credit and that doesn’t necessarily mean he take them, but Media is seriously doing damage control and I don’t like that at all. You can’t help how a celebrity is portrayed sometimes, but SS501 deserves a lot.

I’m a bit slightly disagree, you should not compare in the way of their ability, who become the main factor of SS501’s success is not so important because every members have contributed in the SS501 success. Either Hyun Joong did BOF and WGM or Triple S ‘U R Man” also for SS501 image thus you shouldnt compare that then may lead to the unhappy feeling among memebers. Everything they do is just for SS501.
