Donating is a good thing,  but I don’t make a big deal out of it when people do it. Doesn’t make them any more special. I know people who donate money they really can’t afford to, so I don’t really see why this is so much better.  Not to mention, it’s not like it’s hurting SNSD to give up one paycheck. Wouldn’t consider this to be omg amazing they are so wonderful news. Otherwise people would have to report every time any person donated.
Also, I had no idea UNICEF was still around. Haven’t heard anything about them in awhile.

Actually, these types of performances—outdoor concerts, univeristy festivals, etc bring in the most money aside from high profile CF endorsements. SNSD have a high demand so they actually bring in a lot from these performances hence the reason why SM sends them to 291292 ones per month.

though it is true that artists under sme get little to nothing b/c sm provides everything for them (clothing,food,housing,trips,college ed.,etc)...i hope that what they gave was more than their measely paycheck…meaning, i hope sme donated a little something ^-^
