when i hear junsu and riin’s timeless, i end up getting teary-eyed. junsu’s sooo emotional. like really he’s giving you the meaning of the song despite it not being in english.

JRi hit all the WRONG notes. And she sing like someone is about to kill her or something, she keeps on trembling and cracking. 3:18 oneward is a nightmare. 3:43 too low, 3:53 crack and crack and crack.

Junsu and JRI has my vote.

I am saying Xiah Junsu version,,why???? even it Ri In can’t really sing,,that makes the song good.
I felt that Davichi and Jinho version,,there was too much going on.
don’t get me wrong..i love JInho.
Kelly version, well the instrument and the vocals are a little to weak for my liking.
But all versions are equally good and what not.

Voted for Kim Jin Ho & Davichi they have such an amazing voice. It’s smooth and flows together perfectly. I have to say I wasn’t feeling Junsu voice this time. You can’t really compare his voice to Kim Jin Ho. But I know they are going to have the largest amount of votes just because they are well known.

I’d prefer Jinho’s voice over Junsu’s anyday. psshh Jinho’s vocals pwn TVXQ by far, and he actually sounds and looks like a man for god’s sake~

I love Junsu and I think he’s a super awesome singer but Zhang Liyin… I was not feeling her performance. she uses her vibrato at very odd times and she really has no control over her voice. she was totally dying at the end >.< don’t get me wrong, she’s talented. just not as talented as either of the Davichi girls.

@160 I think you should get your ears checked if you think “Jinho’s vocals pwn TVXQ by far”. I’m not bashing Jinho or anything. Honestly I didn’t even know that there was a singer called Jinho even though I had heard the name of SG Wannabe a couple of times before. Anyone who has seen TVXQ’s Live performance or heard them knows very well that TVXQ are one of the best singers and performers in Asia. So don’t go bashing on them.Try listening to them and be honest to yourself and maybe you will know what I mean. You seriously don’t think that they have got the largest fanbase just because they are goodlooking, do you?

P.S. You should also get your eyes checked if you think TVXQ look like girls

@165: well talk about good timing, just as I checked back here someone has replied to me. in response to your response, I’ll have to say in my opinion TVXQ is a popular idol group and not much more. They are clearly overrated thanks to their ridiculous fanbase, which is also why their ‘talent’ gets overly blown up and that fanbase continues to grow. I’m not bashing on them as I’m sure many TVXQ fans will think I am, I am simply putting things into perspective. I am in fact a former TVXQ fan and I know how you guys feel, but I’m afraid there are plenty of far better and far more talented artists out there. TVXQ fans (including my past self) just tend to (TEND to, not all, so seriously Cassies don’t say I’m generalizing you all since I know you hate that) obsess over ‘their boys’ and not pay attention to/ignore/hate on other superior artists. In fact, this is not just for TVXQ, but this seems to happen with nearly all SM artists. I wonder what this means… So anyways back to what you wrote; I say maybe you should check up on SG Wannabe’s live performances and listen and be honest with yourself: just because you haven’t heard of Jinho before does not mean he is inferior to your lovely Jaejoong. It simply means he is not part of a over-idolized idol group. As for their physical appearance, I’m simply suggesting that the members of TVXQ have rather feminine looks in comparison to most people. Whether that is thanks to surgery or not is totally up to you.

@160/167: T.T oi libat/bungol! if you compare xiah and jinho in these two videos, jinho comes NOWHERE close to xiah’s vocals and interpretation. sure, liyin cracked up but xiah was PITCH-PERFECT. jinho looked constipated and his voice was drowned by davichi. TVXQ are not overrated… @__@ why do people keep saying that?? has it ever occurred to you that maybe the reason why they have so many fans is because they’re GOOD? if they weren’t good in the first place, they wouldn’t have gotten as big as they are now and i wouldn’t have bothered listening to them. i like many other kpop artists but TVXQ is by far the best i’ve seen/heard. they’ve worked hard to get where they are, and have shown no signs of slowing down. oh and if you want to see MANLY check out TVXQ NOW. psshhh.. in asia, guys who are as pretty as girls are considered very good looking. being good looking isn’t a crime and it sure as hell doesn’t make you worse than others who are less pretty. it’s the TALENT that counts and TVXQ has a lot of that. *T____T sorry for the rant… i just felt really bad after reading your comments* @165: thanks for sticking up for our oppas! ^0^ fighting!

i beg to differ; jinho’s mannerisms suit his intensity in singing.  as for the best performance.. jinho and davichi take the win by a very small margin.  please dont bash xiah junsu—he has an amazing voice, one of the most unique voices out there. had xiah junsu been paired with a more suitable female voice, his version might have been better. overall, the korean version is significantly better, hands down.

IMO, the only singers in DBSK that can compare to real singers like SG Wannabe are Junsu and Jaejoong. Don’t get mad at me, just an opinion of mine. Not saying the other 3 are not good, just not as good as the other 2. The only thing people say they are overrated because they’re an idol group. As far as I can remember, Junsu was not meant to be in an idol group at the first place.

Davichi’s vocals are always great. I think as far as Korean girl singers Davichi, Younha, and Navi are the best for me.

i would love to hear junsu and liyin sing this again.. I wonder how better liyin could sing this…. I’m sure liyin would do a much better job than this but I wonder if she could do a perfect live singing with more rnb flavor or still make few mistakes…. liyin fighting!!!! I know you’ve improved so much since your debut…. I just hope she gets the chance to show it to the koreans and to everyone….

wow this is crazy cant beleive davishis version is winning kellys. the kelly version was way better.
and junsu’s is good but zhang li yin really messed up in the begging and at the end.
and justin kinda cracked in one part
but over all kelly’s and justin’s version hands down.
if only there was a way for kelly and xiah to sing together

i like junsu’s version better.. however, wen jang ri in sings live, it sounds kinda weird..

Junsu & Zhang Liyin’s version is winning? Hmm, what a surprise…This was kind of hard for me to choose because I really don’t like the song and all three versions won’t make me like it either way. I know it’s supposed to be based on voice and the way the song is sung, but the fact that I don’t like the song makes it harder ;P Kelly & Justin’s version gets my vote. I liked the way Justin started the song off better than the other two.

i liked davichi and junsus version. but at the end for junsu and jang ri in, jang ri in’s voice really gets out of tune.

I stil prefer the original over the english one. sounds weird if you hear the korean verison first, dont cha think?

Jinho and Davichi version from 2008 was the best.  Jinho’s voice in the 2009 version was a alittle strain but the one he did with Davichi in 2008 was perfect.  His voice is smooth and powerful and blends in really well with Davichi.  Junsu with Zhang Liyin was ok during the slow part but he sucked at the “belting” part towards the end.  He sounded more like the girl while Zhang Liyin sounded more like the guy.

Zhang Liyin and Xiah Junsu… Zhang Liyin, isnt that good when she performed TImeless, too nervous i guess..But she has the voice..

Sg Wannabe is often regarded as one of the best live singing band and a big reason of that is because of Kim Jin Ho.  I remember a show back then where the music experts ranked the Korean singers and Jinho placed eighth I think and xiah wasn’t even ranked.  If you compare Jinho (2008 duet with Davichi) with Xiah above, Jinho does pwn Xiah badly.

if only there was a way tp get JUNSU-DAVICHI/KELLY.  Everyone WILL be happy.

One thing I know for sure…Junsu would have trouble singing sgwannabe and Kim Jinho’s songs because his voice is too weak to sing them….his voice is not powerful enough.

i usually say americans have stronger voices than koreans, but i have to admit, junsu’s voice is like…much better than even justin guarini. he’s so talented. and im not just being a biased fangirl, seeing that im not really THAT into dbsk. gahhhh but junsu’s voice = <3

WTF was he doing with his head while singing?! Lol. And this is totally my bias speaking, but live or pre-recorded, my girl Zhang Li Yin OWNS everyone and anyone who tries this song.

And it’s not just because they did a Korean version or because of Junsu. It’s because I’m extremely picky about female vocals. ZLY has a powerful voice for a relatively short young woman. Plus, she’s just so humble and shy. I adore her.

Also, I prefer the Chinese version of this song. ^^ Still, these guys had great pronunciation.

Jinho n junsu are on par with rgds to technique. It’s simply whose voice u prefer. For god’s sake don’t put Junsu down because he belongs to overrated almighty dbsk or put Jinho on a pedestal just because sgwannabe is underrated.

oh i forgot. kelly>>>davichi>>zhangliyin. Kelly makes reaching the high notes look effortless. She isn’t the best-selling Idol to date for nothing.
