SeeYa's His Voice choreography may just be a hit

SeeYa's comeback song titled "His Voice," fresh off of their new mini-album Rebloom is garnering lots of attention.

From ballads to mid-tempo love songs, with their return the girls sport a pretty fresh concept. "His Voice" is a simple yet addictive electro-pop song that is presented with the three girls' fresh and modern style. Their 'heart-broken, sad love song image' is now long gone, instead replaced with a powerful and charismatic image.

The choreography nicknamed the "bully dance" is making its way up to being a new sensation with comparisons to the Wonder Girls, who are renowned for their addictive song as well as their emphasis on choreography.

SeeYa said, "It's our first time getting attention because of our choreography, it's all so new and fun." They added that having a new member in the team feels like "a fresh start" and that they are all continuing to develop as both musicians and as individuals.

Their comeback mini-album was released on October 26th, 2009.

AH! I thought I was the only one who really loved the choreography XD It’s so cute!
SeeYa = awesomeness <3!

mana's avatar

kaka i think the bully dance is cute and funny at the same time. And the indecisive-legs-move-in-circle is extremely good too.

a9nguy2's avatar

the bully dance looks similar to SNSD’s Boyfriend dance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OtnGBJx7JA&feature=related

KalexiS's avatar

Yes i like when they kind of move their foot back and forth while looking down all solemn…it’s cute.

vee.pee's avatar

I love this group. Especially their ballads <3333 This songs been on replay quite a few times too.

KandiBae's avatar

I like this group too.his voice is a good song

sinnerinheaven's avatar

that was boring

ilhan's avatar

never heard of seeya but they do seem good

sayuri43's avatar

the choreography is okay… I wouldn’t really call it wonder girls status. not quite as catchy :\ but cute nonetheless

theblazenazn's avatar

Wat part of the video is the “bully dance?” Is it the pat on the head??

floofyotter's avatar

THEY CHANGED, what happened to powerful vocals and their old image?

mana's avatar

of course it will not be like WG, just like WG will never reach Seeya status no matter how many time they try to sing slow songs like Sorry Heart of this time or soemthing… Each has their own market and go Seeya!!!!!!

@18: What happen to TaeYeon when she tried to sing ballad? What happen to her ‘old’ image? People can switch concept as they please. And if you watch His Voice live perf, you will know that the powerful vocals are there. They sing perfectly live.
@10: no, they are nothing alike, not a single bit…

&A I - C H A N;'s avatar

Their shoes are so distracting.

ur.my.antidrug's avatar

@19. - wow bitter much o.e

anywho, the dance moves does look interesting. hope everything goes well this time with their new member unlike when they had some ‘certain member’ smile

purpleheights36's avatar

wow. .where have i been the past month? lol. i’ve been living under a cave apparently. didn’t even know seeya made a comeback. lol. fail. *watches the video*

I don’t get the addictive dance. o_o well anyhow. .these girls’ voices are too pretty to cover with autotune. D:

Gwenn's avatar

:s I miss the old SeeYa.  Well I guess Nam Gyuri chose it herself, ,but still I don’t think it’s the same without her.

Well I like the song and choreography. That ‘s a start. ^_^

adeerian's avatar

I love the song, but I don’t think their dance should be compared to that of the Wonder Girls. It’s not that complicated nor exciting to learn.. It’s just patting your head, for goodness sakes!

glitzyglam's avatar

WANGDDA CHOOM!!!
hahaha, getting pretty popular, eh?

stuff~'s avatar

Well can’t blame these kids if they’ve never head of Seeya since most of them only care about boy groups.
Anyway, I like their album and nothing wrong with changing styles once in a while. Hope they get more popular now with this style and new member.

LOLRosana's avatar

when they hit their heads, i laugh.
:D
i don’t like the little dance break in the middle of the song though .. ): it’s so empty.

Ben Dover's avatar

@10 i dont see it
@21 how is that bitter? i dont get why people ask questions like that when artists always change

TheMickiee's avatar

hm for me they are like the Korean version of this Japanese group which is “Perfume” but the only difference is that “Perfume” songs are techno type i don’t know about this girls but they’re ok

InFluX's avatar

My earliest fave girl group! Wow, if people started to notice their choreo as well, this will pwned everyone.

Kids who didn’t know who is Seeya, Seeya is a SINGING group (mind you, not IDOL group) who broke 100,000 album sale records after S.E.S - but people usually left them behind when mentioning girl group 100K album sales record - They said, SNSD (and now 2NE1 too) is the only girl group who exceeded 100,000 albums sales after S.E.S, but SeeYa did break the same record after S.E.S & before SNSD - BECAUSE SEEYA IS A SINGING GROUP they don’t have to be compared with idol group!!
.. and please don’t compare SeeYa with WG. SeeYa did reach their fame, although as a signing group.

MCrazy's avatar

For the first time, I REALLY dislike a dance coreography! Btw, was this… dance? >_>’
Sorry, but neither the song or dance works for me. :S
But they do have awesome voices… if they get the right track to sing… !!

jeongho's avatar

I lost any and all respect I had for these girls (the new one exempt) when I saw a vid of their performance where a dancer of theirs had an epileptic seizure and they kept on dancing like nothing was wrong.

KpopBeats's avatar

@30 wow i was just about to comment that -___- LOL ironic… x3
anyways this song caught onto me and ended up being the #1 song played on my ipod :] Seeya has songs with such powerful meanings and i feel really emotionful when hearing this song. I really want to learn this dance!!! I cant wait until someone from youtube will do a cover x3 (any volunteers? haha)

Katana's avatar

Great choreography, except for the ridiculous part where they pat themselves on the head. I especially like the leg swaying and Soomi’s solo dance and Boram’s part.

KpopBeats's avatar

@31 guess we cant make everyone appriciate the dance moves, huh? :/
and @32 do u honestly think they wouldn’t have stopped dancing for the seizured person? No, they would have stopped. but it would’ve created a big ruckus and they HAD to keep going since it was live. Anyways please dont hate on Seeya. I’d bet they’re sorry that they had to ignore the person.

J3nnyLoveRICE's avatar

i love their song, it ‘s so addicting, and their Choreography.

mana's avatar

@32: They even release a statement to the public saying they are sorry. It’s because they are new to the camera at that time, and it’s live, and they don’t really know what’s going on at that moment.

Imagine you are a singer, and one of your backup dancer trips on stage. Normally, you will not look at her again and just move on with the performance. How can you always look back (when it’s a live broadcast) and see if that’s an accident or she just trip on something and make a mistake while dancing?
It’s not like the dancer collapse right before their eyes. There were flash lights everywhere and the dancer fell down @ the back. At first glance, it will look like she makes a mistake while dancing and that’s it.

I’m sure you’re one of those who will said something about Baek Ji Young’s sex scandal and Ivy’s sex scandal when you got a chance. Just move on, can’t you?

kk.tsk's avatar

i really like their new song *___* and comeback stage on MuCore was full of awesomness. Inki’ was not so impressive, but still good.

XEEREEX's avatar

They’re sweet. smile

baramsori's avatar

I love Inky perf. On Inky comeback, they let SeeyaWithU fansclub went in for recording. On MCore, the fans are mostly TripleS.

Seeya fighting!!!! The youngster will never understand how awesome you girls are. You girls and Big Mama break 100k mark with a debut album, don’t need debut single or anything at all.

Go Seeya! The singing is superb! and all the moksori-melody-memory “ee” sound are so catchy!

AsianBonBons's avatar

Sure it’s different from old SeeYa, but it’s A LOT BETTER than “Hot Girl” and this song is starting to grow on me D:

XEEREEX's avatar

32. jeongho, This is the first time i’ve started listening to Seeya and i must admit that i like the song.
I didn’t know about that incident.
I’ve just watched the Epileptic Seizure video and i respect your opinion cause i know how you feel.

Lacey's avatar

I really like the choreography…it’s really cute<3
Especially they shy part!
It looks like the girl in the middle has a wedgie at the end… xD;

Lacey's avatar

P.S. Fanboys ftw<3

no avatar

This song will be a hit trust me on this one.

toto101's avatar

lmao teh dance was cool and different I rlly like the song it has a weird vibe ^^

lzl470's avatar

hmm this seems like another beg all over again

beg were known for not really as young/pretty as the other female idol groups but vocally talented and their addictive abracadabra choreo made them a big hit

the seeya right now is missing their eye candy but they are still vocally quite talented and their choreo might make them a big hit too
