It's sad how the legend Seo Taiji has fallen. He wasn't even at the event, instead Seo Taiji prerecorded his song "Human Dream" and they just played it over the big screen. But he actually did everyone a favor, nobody wanted to see his outdated ass anyway. Blasphemy! Maybe if it were Seo Taiji and the Boys, but I didn't care much for his solo career.

And as Yang Geun Suk, of YG Entertainment (yes the boss man) said, Korean broadcasting equipment isnt ready to broadcast live rock bands that dont play from recordings but the actual playing.

Seo Taiji is amazing, he is basically a legend really. I don’t listen to him anymore but once upon a time, he was always on my playlist.
But this kind of reminds me of an Indian actor, director and producer (random story time =_=’‘) who with every movie he was in or directed or produced, it was a number one hit, but since he never went to ANY award shows EVER, he never got any awards, because if he never showed up, why even give him the award?

To korea he may seem like an icon but all he did was copy american artist music and introduce it to korea as his own. So many koreans think it all originated from him and see him as legendary.
American music has always been the standard. Most of the world greatest artist either came from the U.S or the UK
