Rainbow colors up Music Core with their debut stage

Rainbow

After all the sweet teasing and the release of their debut single Gossip Girl, the seven lovely and colorful ladies of Rainbow make their debut on today's Music Core stage!

This is usually the part where I would add some snarky comment involving the words "color vomit," but for once I'm biting my tongue; the ladies are looking way too hot for me to say such things! They had just released their MV and their mini album more recently, and netizens are beginning to take notice of this hot hot group of ladies! DSP surely outdid themselves by putting together a sexy set of seven, don't you think?

Yesterday marked fellow DSP Entertainment family members', SS501, first win on a music show and with Kara's comeback pushed further back, can Rainbow continue the company's success streak?

Remember to check out our friends at Prismatic 7 Forums for everything and anything Rainbow!

Many thanks to bwmow3 for video.

their song is ok. but seriously I can’t tell them apart…

Eltoshen's avatar

Parts of the song sounds great, others, not so much.

poopypoops's avatar

ewww the song is really irritating,,, so much for powerful vocals. but they do look pretty….pretty much the same.

PolaroidPixel's avatar

this song shouldnt been their debut song the other ones on their album sounds better but im getting use to them i just have to learn everyone’s name

allNice's avatar

Their debut song should have been “I Believe”
but yeah! DSP <3
but seriously, DSP doesn’t know how to choose the Title song!
ALL other songs in the album are great but their title track is not much.

fantasstix's avatar

Neither can I tell them apart

Ankh's avatar

Im not impressed.

mana's avatar

They lack stage charisma. The perf. is very dry…

Great Live. Totally love it

annoying voices…...

LMAO, one of the rappers said “The real pretty girl”. Sorry Rainbow, Kara will always be the one and only Pretty Girls. xD I hope AKP won’t promote them like f(x), or else I’ll grow to roll my eyes whenever an article about a “spectacular” performance comes out. xD

cherry lip gloss? oh gosh the lyrics are lulz worthy, english and korean. the mr is totally drowning them out. you can barely hear their real voices and that’s only during the verses. the entire chorus is pretty much the mr and not live. i’ll wait for music bank to judge their lives. mucore and inkigayo use way too much mr. but the still don’t like the song and i can’t stand high pitch voices. it’s like 7 hyunahs during hot issue days.

Gossshepp gurl. Lmao. They’re okay.

wow how early music bank does it start 3pm,when its a debut audience usually loud dont hear anything even after their done

Orange_s2's avatar

hate their song and they’re too generic.

I <3333 Rainbow. def my second favorite new girl group of 2009 ( 1st is After School). I love gossip girl…I’m constantly playin their MV. These girls def. have talent.

Can’t wait for their debut on Inki ^o^

despite dsp’s horrible choice of debut song (should’ve picked i believe…or any other songs from the album really) im actually rather impressed with the debut. it was really solid and their live vocals were nice as well.

luvme06's avatar

woo love rainbow <333333

Pretty good for debutants! They actually are quite bearable although their voices are kinda high..

anvision's avatar

Their stage look terrible… DSP need to step it up with so many groups debuting recently. Honestly “I believe” would’ve been a better debut track.

davidfresh's avatar

It was pretty good. Okay it was average, but it was their first time, give them a break! I still love them.

Ryn's avatar

I’ll admit they are all pretty and apparently look so much alike and the vocals quite good but the performance is well, very Boring. Wasn’t impress at all. They should have pick another song (I would prefer “I believe”).

ForeverWithU's avatar

o.O *yawns* but i like their other songs (= lol, so many dark concepts these days, well, their technically rainbow, at first i thot they were come out wearing difent colors

honeynut's avatar

pretty good for a debut. i’m warming up to the song and they are pretty

It helps to have a good song.  The song stinks so much I don’t even have the patience to
watch the perf or mv to see the girls…..

way's avatar

They didn’t pick a very good song for title song.. lol ==

I know its just a debut, and its pretty good for a debut, but cmon
SNSD!
Nuff said

kimmychee's avatar

I feel like I’m listening to the CHIPMUNK version of the song. Where’s the regular version? Because this one is a little annoying.

Too many girls in a group. I’d rather just stick to SNSD if I wanted to see more than 5 or 6 girls on stage.

xueling4eva's avatar

@33, can you even produce even a song like gossip girl? i doubt so xD? if you cant, you have got no rights to say about them, tsktsk.

theoretically's avatar

NOT the outfits I was expecting.

no avatar

Seriously! this pissed me off. Does DSP actually think having a shit teletubbies setting for a debut stage would get them far? and the song horrible, there are better song on their album!
If DSP had use this for Kara comeback stage, I would be ashamed. I’ve lost faith in DSP totally, bunch of retards!

no avatar

what’s up with groups debuting at a wrong time? bad timing girls or DSP. but then if they debut next year, it will also be a bad time right? hyori, snsd and 2ne1’s comeback are next year. mhm. the main vocal w/e her name is looks like kim min jung from bof.
i gotta say goshhip gurl is much better than hot issue as a debut song. though i like 4minute better though. preedy preedy sexshie gosship girl! the outfits—i thought it would’ve been colorful to match with their name, guess not.

chickadee's avatar

I like DSP in general, for the mere fact that they’re like the underdog company.  Jury’s still out on this group though.  I’m kind of neutral… This isn’t meant to be a negative comment, but their leg kicks and flips remind me of riverdancing.

KalexiS's avatar

Ooh rough vocals sometimes…the studio version is leaps and bounds better (which isn’t a good sign) but hey 4minutes debut stage was a trainwreck imo and they redeemed themselves…this was just lackluster more than anything else…expected colourful outfits…

PS - pointing out “Gossship” girl ... is a week old joke…long past expiration date…

joe.oppa's avatar

theyre good hahaha!! <3

allNice's avatar

@ 41. chickadee
I think DSP is the underdog compared to the big 3 but to the rest of the many companies? I think they can compete well. But they need better title songs.

mcjrdgf_2NE1's avatar

wow they are pretty!

michiilah's avatar

they did good :D

akshiil's avatar

I love the ending! They look cute!
The live performance is better than the mv. XD

theoretically's avatar

Anyway, I thought it was a solid performance. It wasn’t spectacular, but it wasn’t bad by any means, either.
Maybe it’s just me, though, but does that chorus sound lip-synched to anyone else?

no avatar

ENGLISH IS ATROCIOUS!!!

akshiil's avatar

I love the ending! They look so cute & pretty!
The live performance is better than the mv. O.O
