i like family outing, but kinda have to agree with 1 :\

Here’s an idea, don’t like or care then don’t click the article or comment.

FO’s not the same without ye jin and chun hee.. the episodes were better when they were still there..

It’s time for T.V show rating news lol.
I don’t even know she had a huge impact on FO.

We do care, because if the rating is to low, they will cancel the show.

chunhee was really funny… and hyori and yejin really were so compatible…. hae jin’s just a rude kid.. and shiyeon’s a crybaby.. so yeah…

park shi yeon doesnt really contribute to the group much. sometimes i really forget shes even there.
maybe its cuz she has the sexy concept like lee hyori.
which yejin had the cute, and cruel? concept.
i love the way she caught animals etc.
plus when chunhee left. kim sooro or however u spell his name also lost haejin and his attempt concept with beating yoo jaesuk with kjk has his trainer never really caught on
his concept as wicked step mother.
plus lately 1 night 2 days has been extra funny. xD

family outing has been going on for a long time. and its the life of the variety on sbs…
it has teh best time and its the most popular.
lots of money goes into family outing
and it wouldnt just be canceled like that.
variety shows tend to rely less on ratings than dramas.

I think their departure added some influence, but I think the main reason for the drops in rating is that the show in general is getting boring. Same old concept over and over again in every episode. Even adding guest stars and idols don’t help. The concept of star placed in the countryfields are so overused and BORRRINGG. Bring back Love-letter or X-man. I miss those shows. I want to see stars pair up.

Chundrella! He contributed a lot to the comedy factor.
Ye Jin was like the mother of the group, and she was funny too.
I watched a couple clips of FO now, and I really like it better before. Its still pretty good, but….

Of course not. Most people who watch FO isn’t watching it for them anyway. They contribute to some of the running gags but other than that, they’re constantly in the background. All Ye Jin did on FO is basically cutting fishes and Chunhee being clumsy. It might sounds mean saying that but I didn’t really miss them at much.. like a supporting character being killed off or something. It’s OK, we still have the leads.

@13 - FO isn’t the most popular unless it’s your opinion. Best time, as in ratings? No, it’s not either.
@14 - I agree. I used to love watching this show. Woke up early on Sunday mornings just to watch it. Nowadays, it’s just boring. Same concept every time.

the ratings is probably because of yejin and chunhee’s departure combined with the show just being boring now.

I LOVE FAMILY OUTING!! almost as good as star king…but IT’S STILL AWESOME <3 <3 no offense, but i think i prefer the new casts.

I was so sad when they announced that Yejin and Chunhee were gonna leave
but when they left, they had really good guests. SEUNGRI AND HYUNJOONG HAHAHA
I still really miss them, hope there would be a FO reunion :D

wow from 20 to 10 THATS CRAZY! and she knows chunhee and her was one of the reasons why the ratings dropped. no offense but i dont think PSY really fits in the family =/ u barely even see her. she doesnt get enough airtime. if it wasnt for her screaming and cries and the fights with hyori i dont think anybody wouldve payed attention to her really..
haejin wouldnt be complete without either jongkook or jaesuk. most of the time then
the recent ep werent all that funny or special (ever since those 2 left it wasnt as funny as before) =(

If fans stopped watching when ChunJin left, they are missing a lot of funny episodes.
FO was hilarious since the 1st episode up until now. They just have a tough competition with 2 gigantic KBS shows: Gag Concert and 1N2D.

And once again allkpop is exaggerating the ratings. It never went to 10%.

I don’t think it’s solely because they left… but also because of the people they chose to replace Chunhee and Yejin on the show :\ plus they’ve cut out a lot of the things that were more fun like sleep rankings and the they don’t seem to play the games with the same enthusiasm that they had before.

@17 I’m going to have to disagree, while Chunhee did kind of fade into the background during the end of the season, I thought the both of them did contribute a lot to Family Outing. I personally liked them both and thought that their segments were some of the most memorable and funny.

i agreed with #24. but the new members are trying their hardest.

its funny because i stopped watching it after they left. but picked it up just to watch the people that came on to visit. and the new cast members do nothing. they’re in the back most of the time. it feels like the old cast members are pulling they’re weight. the whole point of the show is to see how the cast interact with the guest while they do odd jobs here and there and compete against each other. if the cast is lifeless then the show is. and the producers have to come up with different ways to make it funny/entertaining enough to sit through it. though the stuff they do now isn’t that fun to watch anymore i guess the concept is getting old. park ye jin and chun hee.were important components to me.

The two new talents did not add anything new to the show - see I do not even know their names.

As long has Hyori, and Jaesuk are on it , ill watch

family outing boring now…...me and my dad alwayz fight wats better 1n2d or family outing and ill always say family outing then i watched 1n2d the first time i fell in love with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Family outing tries to get viewers by getting famouse singers,actors,actresses.Like i only watched the ep of hyun jooong then stopped.1n2d they have no guest and only have members.Sometimes wen Fo goes shopping they only get lil money on 1n2d they get at least more then Fo.

but ever since they’ve stopped doing the rankings, it seems like they doing the same things over and over again.

i miss yejin and chunhee, but i still love shiyeon and haejin.
they just need to get out there more.

I would rather have yejin than hyori.. hyori is kinda boring.. she is pretty predictable about everything :/ yejin + shiyeon is better than yejin+hyori in my opinion.. since hyori been on forever..

ya and i hate hyori in this she makes me mad!ik shes trying to be funny but she grabs hair and uhhh i use to like her wen shes not in FO but then…....................................

I can understand her denying it but let’s face it, it’s true. The show is not the same without her or Chunderella. Ye Jin was my personal favorite and a large portion of the magic this show had disappeared once these two cast members left.
And then to be replaced by two people who barely even speak? Who made THAT decision?

Yeah, those original two were pretty funny. Haejin’s not too bad but Chunhee is just a character that you can’t forget.  He has this goofy side to him that people love and that made it so funny on the show.  Haejin can be funny at times but he doesn’t have that unique character that Chunhee had: the uniqueness that one anticipates on what the crazy and idiotic thing he’s going to do next.  Also, he had a very very funny bond with Soro that also made it all that exciting.  YOu could always count on them for a laugh and it seems that Soro now is “less lively?” I’m not sure, he seems different on Fmilay Outing now since that he’s gone.

Park Siyeon is a little boring for me, personally! I also agree with some of the comments above, I forget that she’s there and unlike Park Ye jin, she doesn’t really do anything?! She’s a little annoying to me because she always cries and winges and I just get the feeling that the other family members are really cautious around her because they know that she’s sensitive and don’t want to make her cry again.  I would think that for her to be a “guest” would be okay but for a regular, I’m not too sure.  SHe’s not a very memorable character to me and she’s a little flat.

I would prefer instead of her, Kim Jong Kook’s friend: the funny man Cha Tae-Hyun.  He is SO NATURALLY FUNNY and seems like he gets along with the rest of the members just fine! He’s got great social skills and I think in the short while he was on family outing, he developed a character that was really memorable! and Jaesuk is so funny..no wonder he is Korea’s No. 1 MC.

Yes! Cha Tae-Hyun would be amazing on FO. But considering those two corpses signed a contract, I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon.

Can someone please tell me why Park Shi Yeon cried, how many times, and who made her cry? Why even participate in something like FO if you’re that sensitive and can’t handle the humor?? Ugh how annoying.

I think her depart DID lower F.O rating. I miss her and Chunhee in F.O and u can feel that sooro is not that happy w/o chunhee around. I hope they will come back to F.O ~

i dont know why i like the park shiyeon and park haejin better than park yejin and lee chunhee. well maybe because both of them don’t really let people bully them. when i saw chunhee getting bullied all the time i feel really angry and upset. tht also happened to yejin. i dont know if u realize it or not but yejin was bullied by hyori.

plus to all those think the park siblings r not worth it, u can’t expect people to be the same. everyone has a different character.

i LOVE this show.  and i really miss yejin and chunhee. i still watch the show and i still think it’s pretty entertaining but i miss those two.

It’s a pity YeJin left.
