Park Hyo Shin embarrasses Tae Yang

Husky voiced balladeer Park Hyo Shin performed Big Bang member Tae Yang's "Look only at me," on KBS "Lee Hanaâ€™s Peppermint."

Performing another artists song is nothing special, but it's a good kick to the nuts when it's incomparable to the original, as in, Tae Yang can't sing for shit - but we knew that already.

I don't know about you, but this is the kind of news I like to see. Check out the beating from the 12th, below.

Park Hyo Shin has a great voice. I love his version of this song. For all the people wondering who would buy his album… I would. And I’m not even Korean. A great voice is a great voice. This man has talent. But I do love Big Bang. Especially Tae Yang. I think he’s freakin hot & talented. Also, being born in 1981 doesn’t make you old. It makes you really really freakin young. All you suckers fall for it every time they make a negative remark about Big Bang but keep on cause it makes reading comments more interesting. So do the rest of the fangirls (of any group).

what are people arguing about now? taeyang vs. parkhyoshin. puh-lease. hope fans don’t make a fool of themselves thinking that taeyang is better. cause though i think his voice is decent, it cannot compare to hyoshin’s.
i don’t expect mariah-carey-like vocals from Big Bang. what’s the big deal? just let Big Bang do what Big Bang does best. as long as the group keeps on improving, they will do well.

no offense to Taeyang’s fans, but Park Hyo Shin is waaaayyyy more popular than BB so saying that he tried to gain some attention by singing Taeyang’s song is just .... well, stupid =(

That was AMAZING.
I liked the melody of this song but I was never fascinated by Taeyang’s voice. But this just blew me away. He didn’t even look like he was taking it seriously. MUST SPREAD! @XiahJunsooLover i agree with the singing part the can’t rap part is confusing to me. They ain’t the best rappers, but seriosuly out of all the idol bands can u name one with better rappers? plus even compared to other rappers in Kpop they are decent(once again not one of th best but definitely have the ability) , so i personally don’t see the can’t rap part.
This guy’s voice is amazing, not many people in kpop can compare. Hell if he did mirotic (which would be interesting to see)he can prolly even put DBSK to shame.

I love Park Hyo Shin groove on this song. He interpret the song nicely and not over do it. Even Wheesung says he’s in another different league than the rest of them (he go to musical highschool along with Wheesung and Hwanhee BTW)..
Tae Yang still need another works to improve his voice, although he may take it for a livetime but he will never be in PHS places since.

But let me remind some people of the face ripping he went through… on second thought just google it. He’s one of those people who need to stop it.

And that this guy debuted at the height (or what I believe was the height, right now we just have garbage… guilty pleasure garbage though haha) of kpop… late 90s slash early 2000s. Meaning that he is a veteran in terms of kpop.

As far as singing of TaeYang’s song… let’s sit a moment and compare TaeYang’s version to G-DRAGON’S dirtified not really singing version. Now, I love G-Dragon but the boy ... is just… I don’t want to go further. It pains me to criticize. Anyway an innately talented voice is hard to compete with.
